My thermaltake did this. I went into BIOS and diabled C1E and it was fixed immediately. Not saying it will always fix it, but it did mine.

@R3XNebular The problem only occured with corsair powersupplies (hx 620 and 520) So I ended up buying an enermax modu+82 625w about a year ago and the problem has never returned.

@bm010 There was no fix in my case. I got rid of both Corsair units and went with an Enermax modu+ series.
Coil whine, RMA it, you have 5 years.
