how do u select the camera sign below the colour boxes on the left?mine turns off s soon as i select the option adjustment layer and the colour boxes turn grey that is the adjustment layer cant be done by any colour gradient,please help me out here ,thanks.

i have photoshop 7 and when i try drawing or using the gradient tool, like nothing happens. like the template is just white and nothing is coming up or anything. any ideas?

I had same problem and found solution: change color mode to 32 bits/channel (Image > Mode).

@maniac1794 open your image and make a new layer now shos the gradient tool and shos any color you do you want than select the empty layer and click on the image and grag than change the blenmode to solft light

how do you start off with a white page,mine is gray and i can't draw on it..

ur probably on the grayscale, this is what u do, go to file, new, then where it says Color mode, put down the arrow and select RGB color, then ok.
