i mean when you don't spend skill points means no synergys to find, not really skill and item builds.

i think they made it 2 noob friendly. i mean what is the point in streamlinging everything when it only comes down to items not skills and attributes ???
I think this is just gonna be a spin off of WoW because the graphics are similar and really the Diablo we all know and love was fine without all of the stuff they are adding like the PvP and the auction house that uses eal money... Keep it an original game Blizzard
I am really disappointed to say this. But the graphics on the beta were like crap(Comparable to 2011 video games). I don't know what's wrong with Blizzard. Seriously, why do they need more than 1 decade to release a decent video game? And it's getting worse as it goes. I really hope that the actual video game has quality graphics, much better than the beta. Thumbs up so word can get to Blizzard about this.

@djblindsound And what I'm saying is that i dont trust you that it will get hacked. Battle.net 2.0 is way more secure than the original battle.net. And Blizzard has full surveillance of it 24/7.
Excuse me I'm new to the series and this game cought my intention. I have two questions ; what's the difference between this and Wow? And Do I have to know the story of diablo 1 -2? Pls reply Thx
@ChaosBirth12 The difference is its 2 different games, They are pretty alike but this has a fixed view and is probably less in depth. It should be free to play unlike WoW. You don't really need to know the storyline, its always quite basic. Diablo is pretty much the devil and he has brothers, who rise up and destroy parts of the world. and you have to stop them. It sounds simple enough but it's an awesome game. Many people were addicted to diablo 2 as they are in WoW. its worth getting
@ChaosBirth12 Diablo 2 Lore is a fantastic story, one of three fully fleshed out worlds which Diablo has created for we rabid fans:). They have the entire timeline on the community website. Check it out sometime, you will not be dissapointed.
Hi guys im starting a new channel called "Make Money with Diablo 3" it is going to have everything to do with ways to make real life money. I want it to strictly for people to talk about ways to get money. There will be no selling/ spamming/ guides you have to buy. I will make sure this does not happen. Cheers. Ohhh.. And please join!
If Blizzard actually follows through with this real-money AH, I will be crushed to be honest... well now we know that the sit-at-home-never-had-a-real-job gamers won't be very prosperous in this game haha...
@Goodguy253 - They're definitely pressing on with it. You'll just have to ignore it if you don't like it or even play HC. I think people are getting more used to the idea now some time as passed but it's still pissed off a huge portion of the community.
Hey everybody! I have released my new album 'Progenitor' which has electronic music inspired by great game series such as Diablo. You can check it out and download it for free on my youtube channel if you're interested!
Hey -- if people want to support this, fine by me. But why am I forced to play in the same realms? I can work around it, but it's at my own inconvenience. I can live with it, but why should I in a game which supposedly is Blizzard-quality? Why? Finding work-arounds and dealing with inconveniences in modern Blizzard games -- work-arounds for issues that are so SIMPLE to fix -- is nothing short of raw, corporate greed to the maximum, with little care for any concerned. And it's hardly quality.
Please dont buy the game. You honestly are the type that bitches about everything before you get something. How can you "own" in this game? There is nothing to own, and you have the choice to play with people you CHOOSE to play with. Your bitching about something you dont have to use nor be involved with.
@afire007 You can choose who you play with if your friend list is huge, or you know people in real life that play Diablo III at convenient times. Personally, none of my real-life affiliates have any interest in PC gaming or Diablo III. It's very difficult to "choose" who I want to play with, and playing alone sucks. Most people game with anonymous strangers. Who's to say they haven't used the real-money auction house to buy amazing gear that you've been seeking for ages?
@afire007 That environment, specifically -- the lack of merit that gear holds, which is a major motivation to play the game (to become ever stronger by way of hard work) -- feels very backwards in correlation with Diablo III's predecessors' feel, as well as the feel of most similar games.
What is there to own? Besides hordes of monsters and bosses, which die at a rate that scales directly with gear and with little skill involved, there're PvP arenas to dominate in. Oh, boy! PK fests again.
@afire007 Only this time around, it's even more imbalanced and cheap.
"Gee. Look at Bobby decimating hordes of monsters in his shiny, pretty real-money AH equipment, which yields to him exponentially more gear, experience, and gold than Susie May, who doesn't pay real money for her gear and instead tries to work for it. And, as a result, she struggles to accomplish what other players like Bobby are breezing by with ease. Talk about a LUDICROUS ripple effect! And an incentive to pay for gear!"
@afire007 And that's not even taking into account the three fees incurred if you wish to cash whatever measly earnings you make out if you want to sell items via the RMAH. There's a listing fee, a winner's fee, and a cash-out fee -- and if they're flat fees, which is likely, that's going to be a large fraction of what your earnings are. It's an unbelievable, mind-blowing cash cow that'll rake in millions for years to come. In other words, Blizzard isn't doing it for its unscrupulous...
i sad face at this. diablo 1 and 2 were gritty, bloody and awesome. this looks like wizards 101 kids rpg. too cartoony. i like it better when there were crazy horned demon women with thier tits out chasing me
SlyeGuide, com is the webs number one spot for the most up to date DIABLO III information on Character/Classes, the Rune system, Followers, Artisans AND MORE! All information you need for the widely anticipated DIABLO III release, check us out SLYEGUIDE,COM!!
"Kill stuff really fast, take loot, sell or equip it, repeat". Almost right, except you forgot one little thing - the STORY! It's not the killing that keeps you playing, although it is fun in a way. Blizzard always had THE BEST storylines in their games. And out of the three - Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo - the latter is the most interesting in my opinion.
Making a profit out of trading paper for nothing, great stuff. Nobody will get it untill a new adark age will rise up from the death of the international financial monetarist system.
Wasn't Diablo II already a sign of the game departing from the Dark gothic atmosphere?
Maybe Diablo III is like an HD version of Diablo II but can someone explain how much of it is like WoW? I do understand that the Demonhunter and Witchdoctor look like dark fantasy rather than "dark gothic fantasy".
I do think that Blizzard should have at least made Tristram's Cathedral underground look more like the first Diablo.
But can someone explain how this is really just Wow with an isometric view?
I think they changed the game to much i really liked see those skill and power points popping up every time i levelled and then choosing what type of character i wanted to be is also gone
oh my fucking god, are you guys actually complaining about the atmosphere of a game, its still Diablo no matter how bright the game looks, besides its not even released yet they could still change it, if you want it dark so bad move your whining over to the blizzard forums not You Tube
@ThereWasNoFreeName I can understand that, but what about the whole Real-Money Live Auction-House? It's just implementing eBay into Diablo pretty much
Diablo 3 sounds okay but just doesn't sound like the Diablo I knew and loved. I believe they have changed to much, while some of the newer players to the franchise might like it I believe the older fan boys and girls will have a discussions about its worthiness to uphold the Diablo name.
I might just get it to make money from loot :P Anyways it doesn't appear to be turning out to be a good game. Constant internet connection? Wow. There goes my plans to play it on the go.
RED LAZER BEAMS, blue snot balls, & giant WAVING ENERGY STARS =( is this even diablo anymore??? Looks more like a space ship flying through a dungeon shooting stuff with lazers like a Gradius R-Type game then diablo.. *shakes head* WAKE UP PEOPLE!! =(
I couldn't care less about the E-sport tournaments, all i wanted was another EPIC RTS Wacraft campaign that continued the story and not an mmorpg : l .
I remember watching my dad and a bunch of his friends get together in a LAN party and play diablo 2 all day when I was around 10. lol. I don't think he'll do that again with Diablo 3 though.
I'll avoid the real-money auction house by playing in Hardcore. I'm well aware that nobody is forcing me to use the real-money auction house, to begin with -- and although it isn't technically a "pay-to-win" given the game's lack of PvP focus, battling alongside players using oustanding gear purchased via the RM-AH would destroy the immersive nature of the game, in my own personal opinion. To each their own.
I'd love to discuss whatever elicited your remark.
You said that you didn't like what they implemented in D3, yet you are still going to buy the game. As a consumer you are encouraging a practice among companies, which you dislike. Nothing's going to change the way companies do business, if consumers don't step up to make a point.
@Zamolxx One, two, five, ten, twenty, one hundred, or one thousand consumers can boycott Diablo 3, and I'm sure they will by not purchasing the game. Is that going to make any difference whatsoever? It's inevitable -- Blizzard is going to sell a mind-boggling number of Diablo 3 copies. I've already done what I could via forums and e-mails, but all I'm greeted with is stoic silence. Nothing will change.
That in mind, I'm not passing up one of my most anticipated games in a beloved franchise.
Well that's the reason why laissez-faire doesn't work when people behave as simple minded consumers and not as citizens. Obviously I'm extrapolating this to the larger domains of finance, politics, economics and civic spirit. It's this passive mind set, this embracing of inactivity that's killing us. I liked the reaction of gamers on DMC 5 for example. Also not doing what's right, just because it's not "catchy" isn't a real option.
@Zamolxx I could go well out of my way to rally gamers who champion my cause, perhaps spending weeks on end for hours per day -- but would that make any difference whatsoever? Would it have any substantial, lasting impact? I agree that ignorance and inactivity is bad, but that's humanity by and large in first-rate countries such as the United States. Contempt leads to destruction by way of ignorance, which is the seed of corruption and selfish desire.
@Zamolxx Realistically, Activision-Blizzard will probably lose steam in the same fashion EA did years ago. The mass of consumers will only listen when a company produces multiple flops -- such as Need for Speed: Pro Street, for example. When one or two games in a franchise release as failures, that franchise loses reputation, sales, and steam. Won't happen soon.
I see no point in "boycotting" what isn't going to change for the forseeable future. Forum posts are simply more logical en masse.
@Zamolxx ..At least, not simply because of a new business model (avoided by playing on Hardcore), or a consistent DRM (I don't travel often, nor do I own a laptop).
These aren't mind-blowing corporate decisions... They're kind of expected, and I did expect them, given Activsion-Blizzard's track record over the past recent years. I simply find it a little disappointing.
With that aside, massive forum feedback is a better way of letting Blizzard know something. Remember Real-ID? :)
@afire007 A much better question: Are you mentally retarded?
A pay-to-win --atmosphere--. Atmosphere. Environment. Capish? Spend more, own more. Spend enough, and become unstoppable. There's no soulbound system at present. I'm not using "pay-to-win" in a textbook context. It's a general term to describe performance scale correlated with money.
In short? If you're literally stupid enough to pay lots of real money for virtual gear, you own in-game. The system promotes a bad atmosphere.
@afire007 Competitive game or not, the atmosphere is all the same. Dear God, love... With all due respect, get your head out of your collective ass and think about it from a completely impartial perspective, and analyze it from all possible perspectives.
Sure, I can choose who I play with -- by sloooowly, painstakingly recruiting friends one by one who at least say they won't use real money to give themselves an edge while we follow them through dungeons, wishing we could be owning like them.
@afire007 And wake up; Blizzard says the real-money auction house was created as an attempt to kill third-party websites and give players a sanctuary in which they can purchase gear if they want to.
Hello? The whole point to begin with was / is that morons who want to buy gear illegally should be punished via rip-offs or potential bans. They deserved whatever the fuck was coming for them, as they were breaking the rules. Blizzard is now EMBRACING what used to be against the rules.
@afire007 ...customers who want to purchase gear using real money out of their own pathetic ignorance.
Is Activision-Blizzard doing this in order to safeguard ignorant players? You tell me. They're trying to sell something -- they're telling customers that it's a great thing, using words such as "nominal listing fees" and "safeguards." Is there even a hint of honesty? No. Blizzard isn't even taking into account the fan / customer uproar over it, to boot.
@afire007 Let's see. Region locks. Moderation. A sterling, up-to-date Battle.net security code to discourage and prevent casual hacking and botting. A security code that evolves as the years pass, instead of quickly growing outdated and antiquated. Soulbound restrictions for extremely powerful gear. Is it really "necessary" to provide a "safe environment for retarded players to buy digital, fairy-tale gear using cold, hard cash?
Hardcore RMAH restrictions were implemented to prevent people from complaining the minute they loose there items because they died.
The fact that your even qqing about that means you probably were never planning to get the game to begin with and your whining for the sake of whining.
The fact that you stated you have to painstakingly recruit your friends made me laugh though. It kind of confirms that you have no friends that want to play with you to begin with. And frankly i can see why.
@afire007 I strongly, strongly advise that you watch the premier video in my channel -- specifically, a Mailbox video regarding Diablo 3's RMAH.
Who said anything about friends beyond the fact that if I want to completely elude any ripple effects resulting from the RMAH, I need a large repertoire of them? God bless America, that's a retarded speculation. And quite a conspicuous testament to your own blinding ignorance.
How exactly does corporate ass taste, out of curiosity? =)
@afire007 Playing on Hardcore means you can't use the real-money auction house. That's good. It only has a gold auction house. That's good, too.
Why not just address the uproar for ALL concerned (people who support and oppose it) by providing two separate realms -- one that includes a RMAH, and one that doesn't if Activision-Blizzard is truly going through with the RMAH idea? Browsing through various forums, I find that the vast majority of people despise the concept of RMAH.
Kid nearly your entire post was you qqing about the auction house without knowing little to nothing about it in the first place.
I think you need to get your head so far outta your ass to realize that if a person chooses to buy there items to play a game doesnt make you more superior then them in a game. As stated before your ego and your emotions against someone who has better gear than you IS YOUR PROBLEM. You have issues, and rather than simply ignoring RMAH users you cry.
@afire007 The general awards you zero kudos for barely addressing ANY specific points in my previous posts from an impartial perspective, sir. The general removes five kudos from your bank account for supporting a future precedent that will be far, far worse than this, as well.
It's rather hard to ignore the ripple effects of the RMAH in a given, large public game by which players who've purchased gear can boost others in the same public game through difficult instances.
@afire007 Oh, and it sets a nice, crystal-clear precedent for future Activision-Blizzard games. A precedent which, unfortunately, was inevitable when Blizzard sold themselves to the devil in the name of quick profit. Ah well.
-Three- fees are incurred in the process of selling and cashing out items in Diablo 3. There are -no- servers that support a gold-only monetary system, apart from Hardcore. It's staggering to see people supporting this. It really is... Not that you support it. Still. :)
Because someone manages to own more at the game then you your suddenly going to cry about it? The Atmosphere is what YOU make of it. As you have the choice with who YOU want to play with. This isnt an MMO were your forced to play with everyone kid.
If more than a part-time team of ten or so people were developing Diablo 3, it would've been released years ago. :-/
Notice how their treasured cash cow, WoW, features huge expansion packs every other year while the games that built Blizzard up to begin with are 95% ignored. Sure, they won't release Diablo 3 until it's ready -- but they're not taking YEARS and YEARS just because "they're nurturing their product." Which they are, most likely. But at some point, enough is enough.
Damn, watching this makes me remember when I first played Diablo 2. I was 10, and I had watched my dad play it and asked him if I could try it. Took a lot of convincing though haha.
i hope they? keep some of the old music like this.. :"De.H.e.H.E.heheh ƒréë 2hundred $ card ... ggggamestop and dIIABLLO 3 ORiGiNALLL copy ,,..,,,,,.. try It now www.diablo3land.com
@Kmg0 What do console have that PC doesn't? Nothing... If you want you can even plug in a 360 controller to your PC. When games keep consoles in mind they dumb down the graphics for the shitty low graphic use to use interface Pcs that are console. I hate arguing with ignorant console users! Btw, I own 360, WII, and PS3 for exclusives, but PC is hands down better for all the reasons I listed and more. Name one thing that consoles have over PC?
@whiteganser If you want a game for loot Diablo 3 will be hands down better, if you want a game for story then Skyrim is probably the better game. I will play both games, but it seems comparing them is utterly useless. Diablo 3 will have loot where you can make real life money, skyrim will likely have set drops in certain areas that anyone with google will have access to. And a console is basically a retard computer. It can serve all the same functions, better graphics + user mods make it better
I like the sketchy, pixeled, somewhat choppy graphics, than this smooth nu-aged graphics...

There is nothing to own, and you have the choice to play with people you CHOOSE to play with. Your bitching about something you dont have to use nor be involved with.
afire007 6 months ago
@afire007 You can choose who you play with if your friend list is huge, or you know people in real life that play Diablo III at convenient times. Personally, none of my real-life affiliates have any interest in PC gaming or Diablo III. It's very difficult to "choose" who I want to play with, and playing alone sucks. Most people game with anonymous strangers. Who's to say they haven't used the real-money auction house to buy amazing gear that you've been seeking for ages?
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 That environment, specifically -- the lack of merit that gear holds, which is a major motivation to play the game (to become ever stronger by way of hard work) -- feels very backwards in correlation with Diablo III's predecessors' feel, as well as the feel of most similar games.
What is there to own? Besides hordes of monsters and bosses, which die at a rate that scales directly with gear and with little skill involved, there're PvP arenas to dominate in. Oh, boy! PK fests again.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 Only this time around, it's even more imbalanced and cheap.
"Gee. Look at Bobby decimating hordes of monsters in his shiny, pretty real-money AH equipment, which yields to him exponentially more gear, experience, and gold than Susie May, who doesn't pay real money for her gear and instead tries to work for it. And, as a result, she struggles to accomplish what other players like Bobby are breezing by with ease. Talk about a LUDICROUS ripple effect! And an incentive to pay for gear!"
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 And that's not even taking into account the three fees incurred if you wish to cash whatever measly earnings you make out if you want to sell items via the RMAH. There's a listing fee, a winner's fee, and a cash-out fee -- and if they're flat fees, which is likely, that's going to be a large fraction of what your earnings are. It's an unbelievable, mind-blowing cash cow that'll rake in millions for years to come. In other words, Blizzard isn't doing it for its unscrupulous...

But can someone explain how this is really just Wow with an isometric view?

this makes trading items for what theyre actually worth alot easier

Glad to see your credentials are weaker than your sheep mind set.
Zamolxx 6 months ago
@Zamolxx I'm a sheep?
Elena9525 6 months ago
You said that you didn't like what they implemented in D3, yet you are still going to buy the game. As a consumer you are encouraging a practice among companies, which you dislike. Nothing's going to change the way companies do business, if consumers don't step up to make a point.
Zamolxx 6 months ago
@Zamolxx One, two, five, ten, twenty, one hundred, or one thousand consumers can boycott Diablo 3, and I'm sure they will by not purchasing the game. Is that going to make any difference whatsoever? It's inevitable -- Blizzard is going to sell a mind-boggling number of Diablo 3 copies. I've already done what I could via forums and e-mails, but all I'm greeted with is stoic silence. Nothing will change.
That in mind, I'm not passing up one of my most anticipated games in a beloved franchise.
Elena9525 6 months ago
Well that's the reason why laissez-faire doesn't work when people behave as simple minded consumers and not as citizens. Obviously I'm extrapolating this to the larger domains of finance, politics, economics and civic spirit. It's this passive mind set, this embracing of inactivity that's killing us. I liked the reaction of gamers on DMC 5 for example. Also not doing what's right, just because it's not "catchy" isn't a real option.
Zamolxx 6 months ago
@Zamolxx I could go well out of my way to rally gamers who champion my cause, perhaps spending weeks on end for hours per day -- but would that make any difference whatsoever? Would it have any substantial, lasting impact? I agree that ignorance and inactivity is bad, but that's humanity by and large in first-rate countries such as the United States. Contempt leads to destruction by way of ignorance, which is the seed of corruption and selfish desire.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Zamolxx So... As far as I'm concerned, I'll be purchasing the game for three reasons.
1:) It's one of my most anticipated titles, and I'm fairly sure that the core gameplay will be thoroughly enjoyable.
2:) I can sidestep the real-money AH by playing on Hardcore. I never travel, so DRM isn't a tangible issue, although it feels like theft.
3:) By not purchasing the game, I'm doing nothing to make Activision-Blizzard lose sleep. The only one I'm hurting is myself.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Zamolxx Realistically, Activision-Blizzard will probably lose steam in the same fashion EA did years ago. The mass of consumers will only listen when a company produces multiple flops -- such as Need for Speed: Pro Street, for example. When one or two games in a franchise release as failures, that franchise loses reputation, sales, and steam. Won't happen soon.
I see no point in "boycotting" what isn't going to change for the forseeable future. Forum posts are simply more logical en masse.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Zamolxx ..At least, not simply because of a new business model (avoided by playing on Hardcore), or a consistent DRM (I don't travel often, nor do I own a laptop).
These aren't mind-blowing corporate decisions... They're kind of expected, and I did expect them, given Activsion-Blizzard's track record over the past recent years. I simply find it a little disappointing.
With that aside, massive forum feedback is a better way of letting Blizzard know something. Remember Real-ID? :)
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Elena9525
How the hell do you "win" in diablo?
afire007 6 months ago
@afire007 A much better question: Are you mentally retarded?
A pay-to-win --atmosphere--. Atmosphere. Environment. Capish? Spend more, own more. Spend enough, and become unstoppable. There's no soulbound system at present. I'm not using "pay-to-win" in a textbook context. It's a general term to describe performance scale correlated with money.
In short? If you're literally stupid enough to pay lots of real money for virtual gear, you own in-game. The system promotes a bad atmosphere.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Elena9525
This isnt a competitive game kid, nor was it ever.
afire007 6 months ago
@afire007 Competitive game or not, the atmosphere is all the same. Dear God, love... With all due respect, get your head out of your collective ass and think about it from a completely impartial perspective, and analyze it from all possible perspectives.
Sure, I can choose who I play with -- by sloooowly, painstakingly recruiting friends one by one who at least say they won't use real money to give themselves an edge while we follow them through dungeons, wishing we could be owning like them.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 And wake up; Blizzard says the real-money auction house was created as an attempt to kill third-party websites and give players a sanctuary in which they can purchase gear if they want to.
Hello? The whole point to begin with was / is that morons who want to buy gear illegally should be punished via rip-offs or potential bans. They deserved whatever the fuck was coming for them, as they were breaking the rules. Blizzard is now EMBRACING what used to be against the rules.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 ...customers who want to purchase gear using real money out of their own pathetic ignorance.
Is Activision-Blizzard doing this in order to safeguard ignorant players? You tell me. They're trying to sell something -- they're telling customers that it's a great thing, using words such as "nominal listing fees" and "safeguards." Is there even a hint of honesty? No. Blizzard isn't even taking into account the fan / customer uproar over it, to boot.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 Let's see. Region locks. Moderation. A sterling, up-to-date Battle.net security code to discourage and prevent casual hacking and botting. A security code that evolves as the years pass, instead of quickly growing outdated and antiquated. Soulbound restrictions for extremely powerful gear. Is it really "necessary" to provide a "safe environment for retarded players to buy digital, fairy-tale gear using cold, hard cash?
How about Hardcore RMAH restrictions?
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Elena9525
Hardcore RMAH restrictions were implemented to prevent people from complaining the minute they loose there items because they died.
The fact that your even qqing about that means you probably were never planning to get the game to begin with and your whining for the sake of whining.
afire007 6 months ago
@Elena9525
The fact that you stated you have to painstakingly recruit your friends made me laugh though. It kind of confirms that you have no friends that want to play with you to begin with. And frankly i can see why.
afire007 6 months ago
@afire007 I strongly, strongly advise that you watch the premier video in my channel -- specifically, a Mailbox video regarding Diablo 3's RMAH.
Who said anything about friends beyond the fact that if I want to completely elude any ripple effects resulting from the RMAH, I need a large repertoire of them? God bless America, that's a retarded speculation. And quite a conspicuous testament to your own blinding ignorance.
How exactly does corporate ass taste, out of curiosity? =)
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 Playing on Hardcore means you can't use the real-money auction house. That's good. It only has a gold auction house. That's good, too.
Why not just address the uproar for ALL concerned (people who support and oppose it) by providing two separate realms -- one that includes a RMAH, and one that doesn't if Activision-Blizzard is truly going through with the RMAH idea? Browsing through various forums, I find that the vast majority of people despise the concept of RMAH.
Kthxbai.
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Elena9525
You have issues, and rather than simply ignoring RMAH users you cry.
afire007 6 months ago
@afire007 The general awards you zero kudos for barely addressing ANY specific points in my previous posts from an impartial perspective, sir. The general removes five kudos from your bank account for supporting a future precedent that will be far, far worse than this, as well.
It's rather hard to ignore the ripple effects of the RMAH in a given, large public game by which players who've purchased gear can boost others in the same public game through difficult instances.
Troll detected? :|
Elena9525 6 months ago
@afire007 Oh, and it sets a nice, crystal-clear precedent for future Activision-Blizzard games. A precedent which, unfortunately, was inevitable when Blizzard sold themselves to the devil in the name of quick profit. Ah well.
-Three- fees are incurred in the process of selling and cashing out items in Diablo 3. There are -no- servers that support a gold-only monetary system, apart from Hardcore. It's staggering to see people supporting this. It really is... Not that you support it. Still. :)
Elena9525 6 months ago
@Elena9525
Because someone manages to own more at the game then you your suddenly going to cry about it? The Atmosphere is what YOU make of it. As you have the choice with who YOU want to play with. This isnt an MMO were your forced to play with everyone kid.
afire007 6 months ago
@Elena9525 just go hardcore there is no auction house with real money

If more than a part-time team of ten or so people were developing Diablo 3, it would've been released years ago. :-/
Notice how their treasured cash cow, WoW, features huge expansion packs every other year while the games that built Blizzard up to begin with are 95% ignored. Sure, they won't release Diablo 3 until it's ready -- but they're not taking YEARS and YEARS just because "they're nurturing their product." Which they are, most likely. But at some point, enough is enough.
