Thanks for the video.I have read him since 1970 and if you can find a rare copy of Mad River's Paradise Bar & Grill you will hear "Loves Not The Way To Treat A Friend" which is him reading that to a Mad River song.
My favorite author of all-time. I have this tape somewhere it's called The Richard Brautigan Readings I believe. You have made the best You-Tube video of his work . A+
This is the first time I've heard his voice! It actually sounded exactly as I thought it would. It sounds like someone I know. And it's the same voice I'd always heard in my head when I read his works.
What a nice image to add to Brautigan's poem. I am surprised to hear his voice ... it sounds kind of normal for someone so unrestrained in his creativity. A really nice video.
RIP Richard. we miss you.

I've been coming back to Brautigan's inspired writing for most of my adult life. This video gives me a boner.

Very nice video. And I finally got to hear one of my favorite author's voice.
Strangely, his voice doesn't sound anything like I expected it would.
I was reading Trout this morning at a coffee shop and I was getting looks from people because I was laughing so loud.
What a sexy woman in the video!
