Clearly, the astronaut and the objects around him only had one shadow. Secondly, shadows can direction on sloped surfaces, and a shadow can move by simply changing the angle of elevation that an object has with the ground. Personally, I believe we went to the moon, if you would like to present more evidence, feel free to do so.

So when photographing the bright moon's surface, you would have to mess with the exposure time of the camera. This excluded the dimly lit stars. It works the same with light pollution. The moon landings were made during lunar daytime (which BTW is a 2-week long event at any particular spot) so the cameras were set for daytime exposures, with fast, fractional second exposure times. It takes long exposures to get stars to show up.
@TheX3meGuitar A typical daytime exposure per the well-known "sunny 16 rule" says 1/125s at f/16 at ISO 100 for a bright sunlit landscape (incl. lunar daytime). At ISO 200 and f/2, it takes over 1s to get the brightest stars and about 1 minute to get a decent image and about 8 minutes to get a good image (I did this experiment for a presentation I gave in 2004 on astrophotography).
@TheX3meGuitar Taking shutter speed, aperture, & ISO into account, my 1s exposure is 750x the daytime exposure, my 1m exposure is 45,000x, & my 8m exposure is 360,000x . Thus, if you set a camera for daylight exposure (such as the astronaut's cameras), it won't gather enough light to show stars. That's why there aren't any stars in the Apollo photos. Try it: go out a night with a camera set for daytime exposure & see if you get any stars. Maybe you will learn something.

The Van Allen Belts do indeed contain enough radiation to kill a man, if he stayed there long enough. While passing through, Apollo was exposed to an average radiation dose of 0.167 mSv per second. Thirty straight days of that dose would have killed the astronauts. But Apollo passed through the VABs in less than an hour and a half.

I wouldn't go that far as to categorise this with them, governments have been covering up stuff since the dawn of time it's just how they run things; control the crowds and let them see what they want to see. The Soviets acknowledged the moon landings. They were fully capable to monitor Apollo with their Deep Space Network and the trajectory to the moon.
Showing that the US faked the mission(s) would have brought the Soviets huge prestige. But their STC had no other option but to confirm the landing on the moon.

Because the moon is WHITE and REFLECTIVE, meaning that any telescope sensitive enough to pick up evidence of the apollo missions would also be so sensitive that the reflected light would "blind" the camera. but we CAN reflect lasers off of mirrors that the astronauts left, and no, iron would be too crude to reflect back the lasers with the amount of accuracy we get.

The astronauts were only in high rad areas for mins, hours at the most. Japan and Cherobyl et al require MONTHS of clean-up. The only thing that could confuse me a little bit is the fact that today, with computers and software million times more advanced and sophisticated, and nearly 40 more years in space traveling experience, this event can not be replicated...not until some more 10 or 15 years according to what i´ve read.

Now don't get me wrong, a new exploration of the Moon would greatly benefit from advances in computing, but the calculations that the computers on Apollo needed to do were actually pretty straightforward. Probably the biggest problem is the heavy lift rockets that we don't have anymore. We just can't get enough mass into orbit anymore (since we got rid of the Saturn V) to go without complicated assembly.
Who said "cannot" be replicated? Thats bogus. Going to the moon was ONE goal, and we did it, great. Then we made OTHER goals: 6 shuttles, 2 space stations, 12 mars rovers etc etc. You learn new things by doing new things, not spinning your wheels for 40 years repeating yourself over and over.

Yes. There are recent photos of equipment left behind on the moon. Japan sent a lunar satellite into moon orbit a couple years ago and took pics of everything. The pics were released worldwide and can be googled and are even on youtube right now.

The answer here is NO. There are NO photos -at all- of the Rover Vehicles as they were left on the moon. Clearly, the astronaut and the objects around him only had one shadow. Secondly, shadows can direction on sloped surfaces, and a shadow can move by simply changing the angle of elevation that an object has with the ground. Personally, I believe we went to the moon, if you would like to present more evidence, feel free to do so.

The moon landings were made during lunar daytime (which BTW is a 2-week long event at any particular spot) so the cameras were set for daytime exposures, with fast, fractional second exposure times. It takes long exposures to get stars to show up.

At ISO 200 and f/2, it takes over 1s to get the brightest stars and about 1 minute to get a decent image and about 8 minutes to get a good image (I did this experiment for a presentation I gave in 2004 on astrophotography).

@TheX3meGuitar Taking shutter speed, aperture, & ISO into account, my 1s exposure is 750x the daytime exposure, my 1m exposure is 45,000x, & my 8m exposure is 360,000x . Thus, if you set a camera for daylight exposure (such as the astronaut's cameras), it won't gather enough light to show stars. That's why there aren't any stars in the Apollo photos. Try it: go out a night with a camera set for daytime exposure & see if you get any stars. Maybe you will learn something.

The Van Allen Belts do indeed contain enough radiation to kill a man, if he stayed there long enough. While passing through, Apollo was exposed to an average radiation dose of 0.167 mSv per second. Thirty straight days of that dose would have killed the astronauts. But Apollo passed through the VABs in less than an hour and a half.

I wouldn't go that far as to categorise this with them, governments have been covering up stuff since the dawn of time it's just how they run things; control the crowds and let them see what they want to see. The Soviets acknowledged the moon landings. They were fully capable to monitor Apollo with their Deep Space Network and the trajectory to the moon.
Showing that the US faked the mission(s) would have brought the Soviets huge prestige. But their STC had no other option but to confirm the landing on the moon.

@countstarsify There are NO telescopes ever built by human hands that could zoom down to ground level on the moon. Why? Because the moon is WHITE and REFLECTIVE, meaning that any telescope sensitive enough to pick up evidence of the apollo missions would also be so sensitive that the reflected light would "blind" the camera. but we CAN reflect lasers off of mirrors that the astronauts left, and no, iron would be too crude to reflect back the lasers with the amount of accuracy we get.

The astronauts were only in high rad areas for mins, hours at the most. Japan and Cherobyl et al require MONTHS of clean-up. One of the problems in Japan is that they can not get someone inside FOR A FEW MINUTES to read the gauges. If the suits can protect the astronauts for "hours at most" they should be good enough for someone to walk in and read a guage. Your argument is not relevant.

Here's some facts your newb brain never knew: Japan's rad is gamma. Nothing but lead can block that. But Space rad is 88% Alpha and Beta: solar wind, charged particles, etc. All of which can be blocked by plastic. Rudimentary rad knowledge.

The only thing that could confuse me a little bit is the fact that today, with computers and software million times more advanced and sophisticated, and nearly 40 more years in space traveling experience, this event can not be replicated...not until some more 10 or 15 years according to what i´ve read.

@vonkaunaz The computers are actually the least important piece for going back to the Moon. Now don't get me wrong, a new exploration of the Moon would greatly benefit from advances in computing, but the calculations that the computers on Apollo needed to do were actually pretty straightforward. Probably the biggest problem is the heavy lift rockets that we don't have anymore. We just can't get enough mass into orbit anymore (since we got rid of the Saturn V) to go without complicated assembly.

Who said "cannot" be replicated? Thats bogus. Going to the moon was ONE goal, and we did it, great. Then we made OTHER goals: 6 shuttles, 2 space stations, 12 mars rovers etc etc. You learn new things by doing new things, not spinning your wheels for 40 years repeating yourself over and over.
NASA doesnt have bottomless pool of money. It cant go to the moon every 3rd tuesday just for giggles.

Yes. There are recent photos of equipment left behind on the moon. Japan sent a lunar satellite into moon orbit a couple years ago and took pics of everything. The pics were released worldwide and can be googled and are even on youtube right now.

The answer here is NO. There are NO photos -at all- of the Rover Vehicles as they were left on the moon. The most recent finding of human made machinery on the moon is a Soviet rover, Lunkhold, which by the way works better than all other American made stuff used to pin-point Earth-Moon distance.
