Amazing live vocal from Aaron as always. One of the most consistent live performers I've seen in my life. He has to hit a variety of different pitches, especially on the dysfunction album (1999)
This performance must be from the Family Values Tour '99. When I went to the Family Values Tour '99 show at the Cow Palance in San Francisco, they had the same stage set-up as this show. They opened up with Suffocate and it was awesome. I was blow away by how good they were live. The stage was very darkly lit.
This is the staind i miss. . . . so much emotion in the live shows and aaron's stage presence was so much better back in this time then he is now all he does now i just staind there with his guitar
When I first got this album and heard that intro right at the begining of the 1st song I knew that was going to be an awesome record, and it was...but I have to say I was really disappointed when Break the Cycle came out... it's a shame they didn't carry on with the Dysfunction sound
dysfunctional, thats true man as ive said before on one or 2 of his vids, its like he speaks his mind on the paper man, like most rock stars right about shit in everyones lives and that, its true he does effect people when they listen to his songs, Aaron speaks his mind on the paper
in one of his interviews he said that he actually felt weird that his lyrics relate to so many people because those songs were based on his childhood and stuff and that it was really crappy and it sucks that people go through that too, and how so many people say that his songs save their lives,
aaron just writes songs about life and all the shit that happens.....like he oh so wisely stated at one of the concerts i was at....if you can honestly say that you are happy with the world we are living in, then you are not looking at the whole picture......your missing whats really going on and sheltering yourself.........i love that man
well it's not that their bad...they've just gone soft...ya know, with aaron having a family and all, you can tell he's trying to break away from himself to be a better person...but he can still write a depressing song...and for that...he KICKS ASS!!!
this is when staind ...... Was STAIND! what a waste of what used to be a great band they have become what the fuck happened to you aaron?

well tormented was totally different to dysfunction, so break the cycle is also a change,

I like Staind a lot. I do wish however that it wasn't so staticky.
