There is NO way in hell that Scotty sings better than Pia. Apparently someone got the votes messed up or misplaced them. She should'nt have been eliminated. Pia should've won American Idol. Pia has the "IT factor." Which is what they call it when someone sings and you're left with chills, goosepumps, or crying uncontrollably. Pia IS the entire package. Beautiful both inside and out and has the voice of an Angel here on Earth. Amazing performer. I hope she gets ALL the recognition she deserves.

I loooved Pia's balads but I think it's a shame she, or Karen for that matter, didn't do this type of up-tempo songs on the show. The judges kept telling Pia to do an up-tempo but the truth is she did several during the various auditions, just not in the actual competition...

@SCT1976 The #1 reason both of them left the show as soon as they did is the fact they are from New York and the people in New York do not vote on AI. Now if Pia was from NC, Texas, or GA she would still be on the show. The reason for this is that those three states vote for their home state contestants and they are big enough to determan who wins. If you do not believe me look up AI on wikipedia and it will tell you all about it.

@kasaichris immigrants do not refuse to speak English most of them come to the U.S at an older age, they've come here to work to have a better life. Learning a language when you're older it's difficult since you're mind has already so much information stored. And it shouldn't matter what languages are spoken in a country, the more diversity the better, we all learn from each other's cultures.
