I remember looking for this song for years, because I used to have it on cassette, recorded from Hot 103 (now Hot 97 in NYC), but I found it about 2 years ago, FINALLY. One of my favorite freestyle songs ever. Alta Dustin went on to become a folk singer I believe. I also have the radio edit version of this... it sounds a little different! Nice post AngelsFstyle!
Wow, I haven't heard this song for about 20 years. I remember seeing her perform this on a local talk show (Rik Turner Show) in NJ in the summer of 1989. I could never find it anywhere 'til now, almost 20 years to the day. It was a great song, in my opinion. And she wasn't too bad on the eyes either. I do miss that time frame of music (1986-1991)
Haha, this is my Aunt. I remembered she did music long before I was born and I started checking it out as I started working on my own music. Its kind of odd seeing a family member (specially one so close) like this. Send a message or something I want to know how popular this was.

oh my god alta thank you sooooooo much. this was one of my favorite songs in high school. for 19 yrs i have been looking for this song and couldn't find it until now. thank you!!! brought back so much memories of HOT97 in NYC. those were the glory days and wish music like this can be made again. this is heading in my favorites. girl i'm gonna play it until i fall asleep!!!
