Great comments. A strong effort should be placed on connecting Ann Arbor with Detroit. A high speed train would serve the city best. In fact, I believe this connection is the cities greatest hope. Boston has been on the ropes a number of times and has bounced back a number of times. This is due to intelligence and innovation. Detroit needs to leverage the intelligence of Ann Arbor and its' WSU/UDM/Etc. to its' advantage.
