Joe Walsh does not always use the slide when playing this, there are a few different versions around, On the Farewell 1 DVD he doesn't use the slide, there is also a vid on YT of him playing this song on an acoustic, again no slide, so please get your facts right before opening your gob.

This is obviously not Joe; Joe played the F/C/F in D/A/E formations (back when he actually played this part) not in A/E/A formation. Joe also slides the B-C instead of hammering it. That said, this guy is covering two guitar parts on one axe w/o overdubbing. Critics should post their own vids playing it better.

Did someone actually say they think this is Joe?? This guy is playing the right chords and notes, but nothing like Joe did/does. This guy doesn't make use of his pinky like Joe and he plays really stiff. This would pass at your local bar with the drunk barflies but I wouldn't try playing that in front of a crowd of musicians. Funny thing is,.it's just one of those old blues riffs, goes back to Robert Johnson, all the "real" music does.

Anybody seen the whole video, I'd love to see what rig he's using. He used to play in Stereo. Marshall one side Fender the other, 25-30 watts a piece, with a few pedals in the middle,.. thats all. (not necessarily those particular brands, just those two tones)

Saw Joe Walsh in Sydney Australia during the eighties. He was so cool, played little clubs and pubs for practically nothin'. A really cool down to earth guy, none of that guitar hero EGO BULLSHIT. he was having a ball and so were we., Joe blew the fuckin' roof off evry time I saw him play.
