If you love these buildings, take a look at the Save Saltdean Lido Campaign website. The Lido is a perfect example of Art Deco - it looks beautiful and there is a petition to save it. They have until 6 October 2011 to get as many signatures as possible. The numbers have exceeded the 2000 they need, but not by much.
I have always loved art deco, didnt buy anything or have the guts to theme a room , but then decided too, a few years ago. just my luck the world and his wife wanted too as well, prices have really gone through the roof lately, love our front room though, its timeless
the sad thing about this film is you say some of these buildings , arent even listed.!!
Definitely a great architectural style that deserves to be preserved.
Interesting fact I got from a book review on Amazon:
...or bulldozed for parking lots and malls, repeated testaments to the Gordon Curve, predicting that a building is valued most when it is new, that it is least valued and most likely to be razed at approximately 70 years of age, and that if it makes it past that nadir it will begin to rise again in value as a relic and monument.

I notice how many of your Deco buildings in London still have their original windows. In America so many of ours have been replaced (ugh).

For me, the crown jewel of all buildings would have to be the Chrysler building in N.Y.C.
