I have a question about updates.

When an update comes out for, oh say, the Spy's Cloak and Dagger watch, or whatever. Does that mean you can't keep the watch with just the metal powered watch and you have to use the watch where you stand still to recharge the cloak?

Nope, if you press M, you go to the loadouts menu, from there you can select what weapon you want to use.

You can still use original weapons.

well i dont call this update but, the game now has a actual update with the scout one for spy, u can disguie with the 1 of the 3 weapons of what u choose and the backstab its faster, now it doesnt have the damn animation that sometimes makes u miss a backstab

no, they just made the backstab take up one instant of game time. its actually more accurate, but you cant drag the hitbox for flick stabs. it really helps with killing and sapping engie and sentry, because you can just whip out the sapper right after you stab.

Stupid question maybe but how do you open your console in tf2? the preset key for it isn't working, neither is tab+~ or alt+~ like in cs..can anyone tell me?

if u have steam when you are going to launch the game right click in the steam direct acces and then properties then establish launch options and u write there -console and when u open tf2 the console will popup and u can bind the console to any key u want with bind KEY "+toggleconsole" hope it helps u

What are you talking about? The spy hasn't received achievements and weapons. If you are referring to minor changes like the cloak restoring change, they have "updated" every class now. For example, the Soldier went from 64 to 16 reserve rockets. The engineer can now upgrade all buildings. The sniper had some damage ramp changes. I could go on...

I am aware that they were only minor updates, but the engie needs no updates. All he has to do his build his little metal bitch, and he doesn't have to do anything to get kills, just keep spies away. All i'm saying is the engie doesn't need any more help than he already has.

Was that a correction? The Soldier did indeed go from 64 to 16 reserve rockets. That was arguably the largest nerf/buff made to the Soldier thus far, which is why I chose to mention it.
