When I saw the 2007 videos, I thought that Ed was clean, but something was hindering his performance because he just wasn't getting it done. I have to think now that in 2008 he actually got clean, and it shows. The 2008 vids are great. Ed is smokin and sounding like Edward Van Halen once again! Wish Mike was on board, that would have been the best. I think that Dave is genuinely giving the shows 100%. Alex is and always has been great. He's the most consistent performer of them all. Rock on!

i would much rather have them put out a dvd of the oakland '81 show or some other cvh performance from the early 80's rather than a dvd from the reunion tour but then again anything from the band would be great

this is the show i went too, and oh my god, those pinch harmonic whammy dives made me want to cry and jump off the top of the stadium. with all that PA you are surrounded by that beautiful sound...every part of it great-Spanish Fly, Cathedral, 316, Eruption, everything... you have no idea what it's like to see your guitar idol playing this for you...when 1984 came on i wuz at total peace with the world and everything in it... to shorten that down i'll just say VAN HALEN FUCKING RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!
