jamelia is adapted the song to her own musical styling , changed some of the harmonies to better suite her own voice. its actually a might fine job. i think linkin park are probably very proud and respectful of it :)

Well i could ask you the same thing, but that has no standing when a person's trying to voice their own opinions. And exactly how am i to back up my own opinion with facts? IT'S MY OPINION. But to humour you:

1) Her type of music - pop. "Superstar" for example is fun, have an uplifting sense to it. "Numb" has a haunted element. Not the type of thing a pop singer generally sings about. They usually stick to ballads when trying to create this sort of feeling.

2) I'll admit it, she did try to adapt the song to her own liking. Good on her for trying, but i cannot say with the utmost certainty, that she did the song justice. I don't have anything against her as an artist, but to re-create something that is deep, something that can be listened to by any Joe-Blow,& have them feel that the song is especially written for THEM,& change the entire feel of the song, is something that just CAN'T be done. You can try, but this song especially, you fail!
