Physically yes, but in the skills aspect I don't think either have Kobe's post game or even in the mid range. If T-Mac was still like the 1 in Orl til now, we'd be arguing who the best between Kobe,LBJ, Wade and him, it's sad when injuries ruin a players career combined with being mentally weaker than the other 3 players.

He may have passion but it's well documented how Kobe's desire to be the GOAT is eclipsed by few in bball history and in that regard he is right up there with Jordan, Magic and Bird. TMac never had the same desire as Kobe in wanting to be the best there ever was.

T Mac doesnt' get the best stats. But he carries a team on his back and a city on his heart, it is the people around him that motivate him, not a fat contract, 62-20 Season, or a ring. He plays cause millions of people believe in him and he wants to show them what he can do. Kobe didn't cry when he lost the NBA Finals. Tracy did cause those tears ran down for his ppl, and those tears opened up the hearts of Houston.

Nobody represents their city the way McGrady does... Not since MJ and Kareem.
