Jerry was a huge influence on the look and persona of the Misfits as well as on Glenn Danzig. He got Glenn involved in lifting weights, started the devil lock, the count before each song, and he and Doyle claim they wrote about 25% of the Misifts music but all credit goes to Danzig.
I have to agree that Jerry had much influence in original misfits. The way we remember The Misfits is also because of his contributions. It is not just that he played bass. But after he got in charge during/after Graves era its been downhill ever since on every aspect. You should know when to stop, and I agree that he is just making Misfits look ridiculous, destroying all the work of they previously did

well they dont sell this album anymore,as far as i know they destroyed like tons of copies and only a few hit the store shelves,mainley just promo cd's got out,one thing i cant figure out is Bobby Steele in these songs ore did they use Doyle's guitar track instead thats one of the reason this album had problems.

It was a separate movement.
Peter Murphy (Bauhaus) Made the first "Official" goth music.
Ian Curtis (Joy Division) Started the black clothing thing.
Robert Smith (The Cure) Made it popular
Some Punk Bands decided to do a "Goth" bit for a while, like Sioxsie. This made people think that goth came from punk. Really it's not.

I agree, its pissed me off for a while about the useless fucking items that Jerry's selling now...But Graves was AMAZING for the misfits, he gave them an entirely new sound, which was great because it was like an entirely new band, but with the same band members, Graves misfits were equally as good as the Danzig misfits, and I like Jerry's misfits, just not Dez or anything that they sell now.

well they dont sell this album anymore,as far as i know they destroyed like tons of copies and only a few hit the store shelves,mainley just promo cd's got out,one thing i cant figure out is Bobby Steele in these songs ore did they use Doyle's guitar track instead thats one of the reason this album had problems.
