  • how u like me now, i gave u power. real nigga shit!!!! nas keep shitin on them niggas. north philly stnd up

  • Interesting comments, but anyone around at the time this album dropped was devastated by it. After the brilliance of Illmatic, this was so poor. This album actually broke my heart. Even after all of that, its still a million miles better than the crap being churned out these days.

  • this beat is insane. real hip hop lives here

  • I just watched this play through my head like a movie.. like a fuckin movie.

  • @emutiny

You should perhaps buy some of his albums, you'll come across some decent songs, although I ain't too keen on his newer material.

If you're tight, like me though you could always go on Wikipedia and get a track listing.

  • hip hop died and was buried UNDERGROUND its still here u just gotta dig under all the shit and dirt to get to it!

  • Real Hip Hop is still in existence, its just that the industry have to many non-lyricist/ non-poets runnnig the hip- hop genre. DAMNN its a shame.

  • 0 dislikes... still one too many

  • @dannytheodros You ruined it you fucking retard. I guarantee you that guy disliked it because of your fucking comment fuck you.

  • @DMTDreams

More than likely, who gives a fuck about "dislikes" on a video anyway. It doesn't change peoples opinions on the song, if you like it you like it, if you dislike it, you dislike it. Who cares.

  • lil wayne is one of the fakest rappers..i think you might be young kid

  • @Thejoshman807.........2pac dont belong in that list nor jay z.....well maybe his first cd

  • @SawnOffSausage Then I guess you like putting your fingers in your ass.. but that's okay

  • this is why this dude is considered one of my fav rappers...he's def nasty nas 4real haha. this track is like poetry to my ears.

  • I dont like 2pac but i love lil wayne ,nas ,big L ,B.I.G. and eminem but jay Z is garbage

  • he pulled the trigger but i held on, it felt wrong, knowin niggas is waitin in hell for em

  • Amazing so creative wow omg breathless

  • Is it me or does Nas look BLOOOOOOOWWWWWNNNNN on his album cover? His eyes are low.

  • @MrDylann17 when doesnt Nas look high? lol

  • @MrDylann17 Nah, he usually looks like that; like he in deep thought or somethin like that...

  • This song not only personifies the actions of a gun, but it also has a real message behind it. It kind of reminds me of Nas' Rewind.

  • Rakim the God Mc,

    Nas God's son,

    Big Pun Satan,

    Big L Devils Son,

    Krs one the teacher,

    Kool G rap the genius

  • @MexiMex13 GZA the rap genius*

  • @MexiMex13 wtf big pun satan?

  • @MexiMex13 Pac, the heart of hip hop

  • @MexiMex13 GZA is the Genius, Kool G is the God Father of Lyricism

  • Top 10 easy mannn!

  • bro def one of the best tracks i ever heard...this is good music right here

  • hell no i came to realise nas is number one fuck your list

  • nice

  • NAS is the shizzack ma nizzack...

    sunarmy.co.uk

  • This is the best lyrical performance from the 90s. He does it all here. I think any other rapper, with maybe the exception of Slick Rick, would have made this concept corny and an obvious gimmick. Pac's flip on the concept doesn't count because he took it in a whole different direction.

  • the best

  • Pacs version was better!

  • @jnugiel no it wasnt

  • @baddude06 say's you and who else?

  • sn this 1 onf the top 5 songs of all time is to deadly specialy wen u high hhahaha

  • nas

  • one of the illest human beings to ever m.c.... dont compare nas to know one he does his thing! one thing i love about nas is he gives it up to pac, he and pac had an understanding about black power! im latino and I know they had that understanding! "Respect"

  • I''l be honest here...man I thought old school 50 cent "aka power of the dollar days" went hard...but NAS man this nigga was ahead of his time!

Nas= BEST RAPPER ALIVE. WAYNE IS A FAG

  • @XeIpherpolis Nas is clearly better than 50, but 50's first album was very good.

For me, it's Eminem, Nas, Big L, 2Pac, and Rakim = Top 5.

  • @BuckeyeMichael13 You thought it went hard? Power of the Dollar was a masterpiece, but it ain't nowhere near Illmatic or It was Written, but damn 50's first album (not GRODT) was truly great.

  • yo this joint for me right here

  • @Nekz4Ink you a gun?

    hah

  • the best track on this album in my opinion.

  • THIS is GOOD music.... Good music has DIED... you will NEVER find shit anything even NEAR this level...lil wayne is a bitch who makes money of wanksters and preteen girls... em switched his style..im not a fan much more... i wont even turn on a radio...OLDSCHOOL FTW

  • Always I'm in some shit, my abdomen is the clip

The barrel is my dick, uncircumcised

Pull my skin back and cock me, I bust off when they unlock me.

  • nas is one of the best rappers period dont compare him to big and pac cos hes on there level fi not better im a big fan of pac n biggie but nas was doin is thing when they was both around and doing it well

  • Style.

  • i waz born 1990 but i hate todays music.its wack.i like wayne to a certain extent.but thiz iz real hip hop and it jus seems it will never b like diz again

  • u cant say you hate todays music and then say you like lil wanye :L the worst out there at the moment

  • im sorry man but ili wayne is far from the worst.

  • its true that nas is 1 of the best modern rappers

  • nas never got his influence from pac.

nas tought him self thats why nas is the greatest

  • Really? Nas is greatly influenced by Rakim. And he said Pac was a big influence.

  • @Augury08 Nas was doin his own thing when Pac was still alive. Im sure now he respects him as a rapper now, but when Pac was alive he talked a lot of shit about nas

  • before pac died they squashed there beef they were at the award n they hugged eachother to show love....chek out my rick ross diss track on my page

  • yeh nas taught him when he dropped outa skool he leanrt the quran the bible etc by himself thats y nas is such a poetic rapper pac sed tht he was influenced by nas an nas was influenced by pac thats y pac an nas r on a same level

  • Nas is better than Pac on all levels. if someone can name one thing that pac is better at than nas, please say so.

  • and yet nas himself never boats this he respects him and biggie

  • Emotion.

  • im pretty sure no rapper is taking styles they may be fans but they rep their own style, 2pac westside, nas queensbridge. nas is wicked.

  • in my opinion, nas is better than 2pac and biggie. and nas is like like equal to big L =)

  • If not #1, then who?

  • Biggie

  • i gave u power i made u buckwild

  • one of illest nas tracks - right after it aint hard to tell

  • @shayner3333 you can't get better than ain't hard to tell.....i excel....then prevail

  • @shayner3333 better than aint hard to tell

  • @shayner3333 ...that's more about the beat

  • this is still one of the illest tracks i ever heard

  • Nas was incredible with this one. 2pacs was great too.

  • nope ur wrong. makaveli was released in november of 96 and it was written came out that summer i mean nas never bit off pac everybody know that.

  • stan is another word for fan made popular by eminim's "stan"

and 2pac influenced biggie so nas probably listened to him

and his style is a lot like rakim

  • i know what stan means. And if nas is a 2pac stan then 2pac is a stan to all the rappers before him, so idk what the fuck these poeple are talking about. just listen to the fuckin music

  • love this track, lyrics are sick as hell!

  • this is where pac got his influence for 'me and my girlfriend'. pac loved nas for this joint.

  • how do you know

did you read it in an article

  • yea i did also the outlawz even said that it was in an article that the source did on the makaveli album about three years ago.
