@CAMARO30082 i assume that is wheel hp. also, the edelbrock uses the new eaton cvs rotors, the newest and most effiecient on the market. a cheap pulley and maybe a little boost bump should net even more power. also, on a new car, the e force has a 3 year 36k warranty on the entire drivetrain...
@CAMARO30082 ITS NOT LS BASED...AND UNTIL I SEE TRUE RWHP WITH NO FUNNY DYNO GAMES..ITS JUST SOMEONE TALKING SHIT WITH NOTHING TO PROVE...MY VID IS MY CAR..WHERE IS YOURS????
@CAMARO30082 again your an ahole...those 383's that you show are not LS based, further more they use a carb...and their dyno is flywheel not rear wheel, idiot. then if you want to compare guts...they use eagle- an average part, Lingenfelter uses Lunati- the crank now costs 2500, their rods are 1500 and are rated for close to 2000 hp...compare that to eagle with a hp rating of less then half...need I go on..ok...
@9secondsflat show me any tuner magazines- road and track, car and driver, gm high tech where one of their cars was put against a dozen others for a shootout...Lingenfelter won every one he competed in while alive.....your a moron...we all can see who you voted for
@CAMARO30082 your clueless pal....tfs 215 heads with yt rockers are 3k, fast ported intake is another g, cam 500, meziere, underdrive another g, add headers...keeps going and going....Lingenfelter built my 383 and the build was 21k....I made 532/472 at the rear and still got 28 mpg on the highway and ran 10.70's@ 132
@CAMARO30082 Oh you can probably find something out there for $5k that has 400hp or so at the crank... of course it will not be nearly as fast as this nearly as reliable or drive nearly as nice.... basically you will be buying a peace of junk that can dyno 400hp. This car makes 600 or so and can actually be driven. You could probably even make 600 or so in a fox body mustang or something for cheaper... again this is a nicer setup that will prove itself in the end.
@CAMARO30082 The reason forced induction is considered by many to be the best way to get high numbers is because you can make high numbers without loosing any of you factory "street manners". If that is the LS3, (i'm betting it is) then that setup should make around 600 hp. A 600 hp naturally aspirated motor would be a headache as a daily driver. In addition to that, I am not sure you could do it for much less...if any,
I have an '08 LS3 w/z51 package my mods are a ported TB and 1-3/4 american racing headers w/cats. Does anyone have a rough estimate of RWHP I would get if I use the 1591 kit? I am thinking somwhere around the upper 500's. Should I change the clutch over to the ZR1 dual disc if I get the SC?
Not a z06

too bad these super chargers are only good for 700hp max with my build 402. Maybe I should go down to 370 or something and then s/c

On top of that... think about the money you're wasting throwing the other motor out!

Hey CAMARO30082... show me where you can purchase the parts and have the "high horsepower engine" for $6K?
Inquiring minds want to know!
