i have a similar set up and im looking to purchase the logitech harmony 1100, i have a 55" SONY LCD TV AND (4) 32" SAMSUNG LED'S. AND 2 DIRECTV HD-DVR AND 3 DIRECTV HD RECEIVER, CAN it run all 5 tv's and all 5 satellite receivers? i know it only handles 15 devices. so that would be 10 right there correct? so that leaves me with my Yamaha receiver, PS3, Xbox 360 and 2 other possibilities ? if so how do you set everything up? and don't i need adapters for the ps3 and xbox ? please help

@joeyeoj87 The harmony remote can control everything in ur set-up.You will need an ps3 adapter that costs about 50 bucks. The harmony remote already sync's to the xbox 360 so you wont need a adapter for that.The set up is simple, the remote does all the work really. just hook it up to your computer and type in the model number of each piece of equipment, and its already on file. In the event that it isnt, you'll have to point the original remote in to the 1100 sensor so it can read it the signal

@skymoon1982 the Wii doesn't work with the remote as of yet..i believe logitech is working on it. The harmony constantly has updates for new equipment that comes out..

I could've easily created a deticated theater room, but I'm not really a movie buff. I'm a sports nut. That 120 inch screen you talked about, I have one hanging from my ceiling that I watch movies on and its in HD. Everyone has their own different taste, and my set-up taste is not for you, luckly its for me and thats all that matters =)

@atlantahess yeah it should work with comcast as far as i know. it works with pretty much any and everything imaginable. Overall I'd give the remote 4 outta 5. Looks wise its beautiful, performace wise its good also, very easy to set up. the remote itself feels cheap to me with the plastic they used on the face of the remote.

I just set up the harmony with different activites to control each box seperately. Its kinda tricky since they all share the same IR signal. 9 times out of ten though I end up putting a channel on the box, leave it, and then put something in front of the box to block it, so when i change another box, it wont change the other box also ( if that makes any kind of sense lol ) kinda hard to explain

I'd go with a projector screen over any tv and day of the week cause they are cheaper and you get such a bigger size. Your screen will be just fine, it really depends on what brand your hd projector is. I'd go with an Epson or Optima projector. They are not too expensive and you get great quality picture. You will be amazed..trust me bro.. hit me up with anymore questions if you have any

@datdudein702 ok so i have a ps3 hooked up to my projector with an hdmi cable, and i use the red and white cable that came with the ps3 to my dvd player and change its settings to AUX on the dvd player, but my problem is that its a surround sound but only the subwoofer, left and right speaker plays, do u noe how to make all 5 speakers play? if u have surround sound on ur setup, tell me how u set it up, sorry, thnx :)

honestly bro, I would have to see it in person and I could tell you how to do it. You explain it, but its hard for me to visualize what your set up looks like. Im sure there is a way to make all 5 of your speakers to work. Does you surround sound have different input settings i.e. tv/sat, front, surround, cd, tuner? I would play around with that first, or even check to see if you have any wires crossed by accident
