The funny thing with this climb is that I've done it with 35" bfg muds with just a rear locker...it's one of those that takes a good full throttle stab with commitment - you tend to puss out when you have 1.5 hours to drive home so i tried a stupid line and this is what happened...would i try again...yes...rolls don't happen when you plan every inch. It changed every time I've ever been on it...man up

I rolled my father's recently and rather costly restored 71 Bronco about 10 years ago. It was our inaugural voyage after a 2 year restore project, and I dunked that beautiful beast in a creek bed after launching it over a unassuming little hill. The Bronco's tub and front clip was all made of fiberglass, and I straight mobbed it after only 3-4 hours of being on the road the first day.

Of course it was the end of the day and it got dark quick! Tried winching it back over with no luck...kept dragging on its side. Had a 91 on 31s which we sunk to the top of the fenders looking for a good recovery point. I got in beat the piss of it till it was free then managed to pull my rig back over praying not to snap the dana turdy five in the 91. Fired it up - drove over an hour home. One of the few times I wheeled w/o the trailer. Casualties - cell phone& brand new arb snatch block
