@jb55101 I can't tell from the video but he did go to the 2006 National Games at Ames Iowa according to the ribbon he had because I went there as an athlete and I can recognize that emblem on that ribbon from anywhere.

Special Olympics is a wonderful thing. My retarded sister participates and it is a wonderful program. My sister lived in one of the last institutions to close down and now lives in a group home setting. She will never be able to be out in the world on her own due to her level of functioning but she lives a life that reflects her humanity even if society has not always acknowledged that humanity.

in june 2010 will be my first time for special olympics i am 38 and when i was born and where im from being disabled is sin and your looked down on and hiddin away. but being in the usa for 15 years i learn not sin and not punishment from god . can not wait for when its my turn to start special olypimcs
