it means my external hard drive is dead now.............Samsung hard drive is shit....Core Cn memory is a shit.....my HDD went dead just after few months
The head crashed. It's a good idea to run it platter-surface-down so the head falls away from it. I had a Sam with a bad preamplifier chip, took it to my repair shop, ran it with a clearcap (to prevent debris from getting onto the platter while I was inspecting it with power on), and the head LITERALLY just shot off. Good thing I had another head to replace it with. But it's so freakin difficult to fix without touching the platter and damaging it.
ouch, head crash on that samsung.... its buzzing and touching the platters.. the heads should not touch the platters at all. its probably done for because the head crash has probably destroyed the platter surface. running it beyond that will make it more difficult to recover.
