rte are idiots missed out on the opportunity of the best comedy in several decades an there's bout three or four english actors an the rest are irish an all had to go to the bbc to get recognised as great and talented actors/actresses
@mizlightbulb1234 dermot was actually really really uncomfortable during the scenes in father ted when he had to smoke! i feel sorry for him, i hate smoking!
who ever said that dermot morgan was not a talented man, needs to be shot,he had nothing got to do with drugs....ffs,he was not liked that much in the early days, because he was the first to attack the church in Ireland, which is probably why he was not popular in the beginning, remember the church controlled everything.........including RTE
The greats all start somewhere. Susan Sarandon began making commercials for American Airlines. Dustin Hoffman made commercials for Volkswagen. Brad Pitt dressed up like a giant chicken for a fry cookery.
Thanks Passworld! I'm the biggest Father Ted fan, I have all the episodes on DVD, and no matter how many times I watch them I still laugh like I'm watching for the first time. Do you by any chance have more Dermot Morgan (NOT father ted stuff)to post? Like live mike. If so, I would love to see more stuff like this on. Unfortunately, we don't have access to this kind of stuff in the US!!
i think his policy of taking down Inter Continental missiles with losers is a brilliant idea. win win. Splat

I'm half Greek and half Jewish, so, because of my background, I was born with a very prominent, long nose that was too big for my small face.
