@oldpiq You're right, and that's the sad part of art. That doesn't mean that they'd be right in rejecting that up-&-coming artist though. Look at someone like Jeff Koons. He started out enamored with Surrealism, even visiting Salvador Dali, but had to do a lot of less-interesting work before he could get to the surrealist/collage/paintings he does today. I'm guessing that Tuttle has always wanted to work like this and I'm only happy for him.,
I sorta buy it, but not for $45 000. Now imagine mr. Tuttle isn't a very known artist and tries to submit these pieces to galleries. My guess? They would reject the crap out of him.
a always "understood" abstract art, but Tuttle really helped me for the first time to appreciate and enjoy it. Great video, jameskalm. Thanx for posting.
I love your videos, they're very helpful in dealing with my frustration of not being able to go to enough shows. If you feel like it, you could worry about focusing your camera a bit better when you zoom in! Other than that, really nice.

@oldpiq To be clear - it wasn't my judgment of the artist of course, but of the smartypants curators practicing their nepotism and chronic blindness.

thank you for not playing art critic...this work is amazing...but most people don't understand it...which is one point of the work, no doubt
