i hate that people think that Dumars traded Billups to get rid of him or trade "up" for iverson.

Dumars knew that Detroit was done, It just happened to work out that there was a trade that could be made for him and iverson. it was a professional courtesy to trade Billups to Denver.

When a trade comes along that Sheed and the rest of those guys agree to they'll ALL be out of Detroit.

I love what Billups has brought to Denver, he doesn't score loads of points but he gets the members on his team to score more consistently and play aggressive defense, just like he did with the Pistons.Add this to a talented Nugget team and it brings some double digit deficit wins as seen in some of their playoff games, and that 121-63 mauling of the Hornets.

Theres a big possibility Denver could cause a major upset against the Lakers, if those two make it to the Western Finals.

Lebron and Kobe are both better skilled individually at basketball no doubt. But you'll RARELY see Billups dunk, even though he can. It's not his style. He's not there to glorify himself. That's a champion.
