Currently, the biggest chunk of fans are probably ignorant little kids (that's not an insult) who can't comprehend the steroid problem anyway. I had no clue as a kid there was anything wrong with how huge guys like Warrior and the Bulldogs were. I just thought it was cool. It's up to the wrestlers in the end how they want to live.

Not only does it keep freedom of speech alive, it keeps people alive. If enough people start leaving for refreshments or bathroom breaks during matches with these types, less future wrestlers will feel compelled to take steroids instead of wrestling lessons to make some good cash. And they will develop athletic conditioning instead of heart problems.

Test was a barely mediocre wrestler on his best night, and had about as much star power as Tim White. Aside from the angle with Stephanie McMahon, he did nothing memorable in the almost ten years he dragged down the WWF midcard. But because he eventually died from all the juicing up he did, it became the cool thing to do to pretend he was something special. I hate when that shit happens. He sucked alive, and he sucks dead.
