one question.. when intercepting the DME arc.. should i stay on banking or gradually change the HDG knob...? how should i maintain the DME arc given with DME distance in the chart... BTW i also fly with PMDG 747 Philippine Airlines... =)

Just gradually turn the heading knob as you see your aircraft begin to drift off the required DME

WOW, great Video, you sure do know what you are talking about!, so do you find it easier to tottaly disable the autopilot for landing as what I do is just turn off the autothrottle and idle the engines at around 100ft, but i guess you have full control over the aircraft your way right?

a normal ils works this way: u get the localizer and glideslope and disconnect it 200-300 feet, then fly it manual. or u can do a more complex ils called catIII where u set the DH to 50 and dont turn off autopilot at all

So let me get this straight: I seem to know everything in Flight Sim, except what you're telling me or showing us here. To be honest I've been heard of "Radial" before. Gosh this makes me feel like a n00b. -,- Just give me and example, but I've a quick learner.

A VOR has 360 Radials...for example if you are flying INBOUND in the course 020 of a X VOR..it means that youre flying over the Radial 200 of the VOR (180+20)... in the other side if you're flying in the 180 Course OUTBOUND of a X VOR, it means that you're over the 180 Radial.. It would be easier if you draw a VOR represented by a circle and try to represent the 360 lines that come out form it..it would be easier...Hope you understand my explanation.

I like your flying very much , i try to fly as realistic as possible too. need to learn alot about DME approaches though.

What i wanted to ask : you say you where cleared for this particular approach ... but by who ... what do you use for ATC ? where you flying online ? IVAO or Vatsim or something. I'm looking for a good offline atc experiance .. tried pro flight emulator but thats not working for me , to buggy.
