so it's a GW land raider (to scale) with it's treads and stuff cut out and replaced with an electric motor and a tank-like assembly to rotate the treads... brilliance

Alot of things from the Warhammer 40K universe is heavily inspired from WW1, to get that war torn, trench wars feel! They want it futile, and trench wars are as futile as they come! Does it make sense to have that doctrine with the equipment and trainning? no! Would it give a great setting: Hell yeah!

im currently in the process of making a land raider radio controlled, the only issue im having is finding some tracks that are the right size, where did you get yours? or did you custom build them? either way any tips would be appreciated

what for?

faster speed? if your gonna do that i would suggest a variable speed controller so it doesnt rear up and accelerate in an instant

look into "hacking a servo" play around a bit and have a fully remnote controlled version with a little brainpower you can gear up the speed aswell
