for how long is the fireball supposed to sleep?

because mine sleeps maximum 20 sec

@001ofSpades A Fireball can spin up to 30 seconds or more on a hard throw. For spin times longer than this a player should consider a Yomega ball bearing model like the Maverick, Dash and Hot Shot.

@SiiiLENTxSHANKER watch the video in the help section about how to return a Fireball. Your problem is most likely lubricant, stringing or just that you need a strong flick of the wrist to get it to return.
