  • Andy Rehfeldt + Dirty Loops = world peace.

  • Again .... genius

  • I love how you turn terrible music into something good.

Listened to Rihanna and my ears didn't bleed! *g

  • Even the metal version of the chorus is boring : ( Not your fault though. It's just a boring song. Your work is awesome, as always.

  • That very first part at the beginning of her singing sounded ugly.

  • If rihanna started making metal I'd buy all her albums...

  • I would listen to the metal version

  • since nuno bettencourt is rihanna's guitar player, the metal part could be easily a (strange) reality

  • Do Gorgoroth and Deicide lol

  • @HardKore5250 He has already done a Radio Disney Gorgoroth.

    /watch?v=8ysWaSZEoNY

  • The country intro is crappy, but the rest is nice. The ending is quite reminiscent of Europe (when will you pick up these guys for a mock up?)

  • Metalhead here:

Countryversion was the best one :)

Could have gone dirtier with the metal one :3

And I just hate bossa! (hate to play it on drums so >.>)

  • this is most excellent

  • You should have made a country only remix of this, but make the drumming sound better, use the metal drumming i.e.

  • @CognitiveNetwork I love the bossa nova version myself

  • I'm in love with this song.

  • 00:23 -- "I wanna megadeth boy"?

  • Fucking Genius! Something today is lacking. Thumbs up if you agree. Revolution will bring new/good music back.

  • @apaecht Good music is never gone ;). And it doesn't HAVE to be popular, just because you like it.

  • very fun, reminds me of my old band Slugbunny, we used to change genres within a song, reggae, latin, metal, swing, etc, just to do it, this was back in 89.

  • @MobiusBandwidth wow! did you guys recorded anything back then? :)

  • @petrosonrocking we recorded all the time, unfortunately I don't have a lot of our recordings, but you can hear a few via our myspace accounts, and I made a video which is on my account here of our metal xmas tune, oh right youtube won't let me post links myspace dot com/slugbunnyband you may also dig my current band myspace dot com/mojoceratops youtube dot com/user/mojoceratopsofficial please check us out! thanks! (replace word dot with a . ) :p

  • This is great.

I would love to see a Metal Version of Rude Boy. Wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more, say no more!

  • @dashmyoku There's a shred guitar version by Erock331-you might wanna check it out, he's pretty good too...

  • I really love mutant music - like mr bungle and naked city, f.e.

This shit is on this way - great. (put I prefer your version of toxic, in this category.

  • you''re the midas of the music - you can transform shity music in such epics songs!

  • Metal !!

  • Simply amazing, and great transitions. Sick country remix haha

  • you are a genius man!

  • in fact, the music goes very well with the video, and dance

  • I actually really like your version of this song! Haha...

  • Travis any one ?

  • i love that riff in the first metal section

  • 10k better than the original. Keep the good work man. Your a genius.

  • Been listening to all your dubs. You're my new hero!

  • Love the insanely progressive genre-shifts.

  • youre a genius

  • i instantly became more attracted to rihanna when the metal kicked in

  • Hello.

You do Country really well, can you do some more?

  • Great, man! very musical - which, unfortunately, I would not say about the Celine Dion ones. For me, it's the best when you show your sheer musical creativity, rather than high speedometer values. Again m congrats for all the upgrades of so many pop songs.

  • damn dude, your work is boss.

  • You just prove that pop songs are in the wrong genre, a lot. Well done.

  • This is wicked!!! I love it!!!

  • I love the bossanova part. Sounds like something off the Wii Shop channel or.... something.

  • That Bossa Nova part is genius.

  • woah it actually fits there :o

  • This is my favorite by far! Closely followed by the jazzed up metal songs! This particular remix shows a lot more than just fun. It's seems like she could almost perform to this mix in real life! Great job!

  • Rihanna always gave me a bober when metal came up with her voice i erupted

  • @crazybones2009 A bober? Is that some sort of fishing device?

  • @crazybones2009 A bober? Is that some sort of fishing device? Because if so, it was nice of her to give you that...

  • Wow! Suddenly this shitty song is listenable! :D

  • the bossanova bit is awesome! great work

  • It's amazing what adding some actual talented instrumentals to a song can do to it.

  • Cemetery gates! Fuck yeah!

  • Before i heard this version of the song... i hated listening to the normal version on radio..... nowadays, after i've heard this version.. I can listen to the normal version and have this version running in my head at the same time and i can enjoy the song hahaha lol

  • I dont know what part i like more

  • I hope rihanna sees this and changes her ways!

  • Absolutely Awesome. This one got really good!

  • The original version torments me so much when it's on the radio, and this is the

first time I hear this song and love it. You're awesome, dude!

  • yi-pee ! another cool vid, Thx Andy !

  • Can't.. stop.. laughing! Andy, you are a genius. The banjo part made my day..

  • can we download this song please ! ?

  • can you upload the full country song? XD

  • Man, the song was perfect as always, but please, make a full metal version!

  • the metal part gave me a boner and i ejaculated in every pinch harmonic XD

  • make it fully metal.your version will be the best among other metal cover for this song

  • xD

  • what an incredible mix man, you rule!

  • Seriously, you should be famous for this, you have talent... undoubtedly

  • This was amazing Andy! More bossa nova in the future please. :)

  • Thats one badass riff in the metal verse!

  • Not only you made this song audible, but a fucking amazing track. I really love it. It's odd how two abominations from Rihanna can turn into two awesome pieces of music (this and Jamie's Cullum Don0t Stop the Music).

    Thumbs up!

  • Don't only you made this song audible, but a fucking amazing track. I really love it. It's odd how two abominations from Rihanna can turn into two awesome pieces of music (this and Jamie's Cullum Don0t Stop the Music).

    Thumbs up!

  • Simply amazing. Great skill in composition as always. :)

  • Andy, you're master. You make shit become diamonds. Greets :)

  • Im a matelhead and I normally really dislike country but that sounded pretty awesome

what kinda voodoo magic you using? o.o

  • Dude, This is awesome in so many ways! I love your arrangements! Keep 'em coming =] \m/

  • Bravo maestro!

  • Rihanna + Plus Andy = win

  • oh my, the bossa nova part allowed me to appreciate Rihanna's voice, thanks Andy this really made my day!

  • 3:02 LOL Rihanna full playback :D but the song is awesome :)

  • @KutViZ he only used the video.the voice track is from another source

  • Love the transitions - turns it into a bizarre cabaret of sorts.

  • What's funny is she could probably front some sort of alternative band with her voice - it's interesting enough.

The county had me cracking the hell up.

  • Damm - this is awesomly funny :-)

  • Really good version! But could you possibly make a plain country version? That was really good

  • dude you made me cry like a little man!!

  • The transition from country to metal was ingenius.

  • nice i was hoping to see this song redone by you on your list. i wish it was a complete metal virsion though i think it would be fucking awesome i love what your doin here man.

  • You sir are a freaking genius!!! I can't stop hysterically laughing everytime i hear the first chorus!!! XD

  • Nice job. Sounds great.

  • dude! you are frekin awesome!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!

  • @AndyRehfeldt : Love the squeals in the beginning of the metal section!

  • taylor swift lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA bossanova part is the best!! ;))

  • I loved the transition from country into metal at the start of the second verse. That was great.

  • Incredible

  • 對嘴... = =

  • those arpegios at 1:48 suite perfectly!! very great job :D

  • Haha, country sounds good :D :D

  • Holy sh*t - this is amazing!

  • Wow, take about a different song when you change the music.

  • <------ Must download to play at my bar

  • holy crap it sounds good

  • Absolutely amazing.

    You are the man!

  • Wow, that's perfect, ahahaha.

  • I have to say man, your metal version of this song and pretty much every other metal version you've done is just amazing. The other genres are kinda humorous, but I love the metal versions. The metal chorus in Tik Tok was epic. I wanna hear a full metal version of that one.

  • maaan great job bro! dont know how i missed this one D: but better late than never i suppose. glad to see u doing more genre mixing throughout the track. fanfreakintasticEPICWIN \\m// xD \\m//

  • Is it wrong I wanna see Andy tackle S&M next? Just saying.

  • It's a crying shame all that hard work is put into lo-res Youtube audio. Are there higher res versions available?

  • That metal part made me realise, I want sexy women singers that would fit in a pop context sing catchy lyrics along with some effing heavy guitar riffs. Pop metal at its best. Good riffs, good singing. (By the way, Rihanna sucks live)

  • Rihanna, now a featured guest in many country bars. Guy in the background has a great moustache. The metal section is good, but she felt out of place - and beautiful execution on the bossa nova section.

  • You should do "remixes" for these artists. I would buy an Album of Rihanna singing to country. Guys only listen to her to pretend she's singing to them anyway. She's my pretend girlfriend.....

  • I love these songs, and Rihanna in a country song makes my night. You should do some more of her in country...cuz i looooove her that way.

  • Sublime!?

  • damn that pinch harmonic is meaty!

  • Your music is the most interesting thing about this song. Her lyrics and her singing are repetitive and monotonic, respectively.

  • Did you use a nylon string guitar for the bossa nova section?

  • @SubmergedRecords Yes- a crappy one.

  • @AndyRehfeldt , how did u extract the voice out from the track? this is awesome!!!

  • you made changing the whole style of a song look seem so easy

  • you are a genius. loved all the vids.

  • AWESOME! But I'm pretty sure this song would be better if it was all metal! Still REALLY good though. I love your work dude, it's sooo funny to watch! :D

  • the difference between a good singer and a pop singer is the retard sitting behind the sound engineer dictating how an album should sound like.

  • :O

  • Thank you, I've been trying to explain to a friend of mine how Rihanna's voice sounds country style on this track, the banjos took it bit further than how it sounded in my head but they did raise a smile.

  • Andy this is too damn crazy , my brain stoppeeeeddd.... yyyyyy o_O

  • I look for them here on YT :)

  • Man, can you teach us to do this? What do you do to keep only their vocals?

  • pleasepleaseplease do S&M??

  • shoulda been just straight up metal andy! fuck!

  • @foobler actually after listening to it a few more times i think its pefect the way it is...im sorry i ever doubted you andy...hail satan!

  • @foobler calm down ass

  • As much as these songs are meant to be funny, they just end up being brilliant in their own right.

  • Once again,another excellent piece.

  • this song was,so-so...just ok i guess...how 'bout glam metal covers :D

  • this song was,so-so...just ok i guess...

  • @magnatank3 You are so-so you slime, this shit is gold.

  • lol awesome!!! good job andy i enjoy your vids and dont produce any work when im watching this @ work...my job hates you!! lol..thanks me vids please!

  • metal version is the best :)

  • you are an actual rediculous tit, i love you. you never fail to make me laugh, you are an actuall genious!!!! i want to marry you xx

  • another disasterpiece from my favourite composer....L.O.L...rihanna may smack ur *ss down!

  • Loved the silly country bit. I'd certainly be happy to see more!

  • Your style is unmatched, I can only ask to please keep making remixes - they are the only thing on youtube worth re-watching/re-listening. If you had all of your remixes on iTunes, I would buy them without hesitation. Keep up the great work.

  • Once again, perfection! Another one that beats the original IMHO.

  • this one was surprisingly good as a a "parody" but actually as a song

  • I actually loved the country verse but thought the chorus was a little awkward. The metal part kicked ass. Great job as usual.

  • your talent exceeds 99% of people on youtube, keep up the great versions, you make songs I would never listen to, (like this one) enjoyable for me,

  • @joelbuttle Thank you

  • @AndyRehfeldt You are very welcome.

  • @joelbuttle

Correction, it exceeds 999‰ of the people on youtube.

  • @joelbuttle 99% thats a lot of people who are more talented then Andy :'O

  • @joelbuttle 99% = less talented.. that's 1 in 100 and how many youtubers are there?

  • Some of these artists should really consider changing up their genre... Rihanna would be a badass metal vocalist.

  • Better than the original shit!

  • Haha purely awesome. Loved the Bassanova part. :D

  • "Contry " pop style / major chords / 2/4 tempo (allegro?) / are always happiness in every country. God bless Your mom, She's right.

  • dude where do you get the drum loops?

  • I REALLY DO ENVY YOUR SKILLS. The song is ambitious and funny - while listening to this version It seems so, so very easy to play major arpeggios on banjo/guit/E.Guit - while voice sometimes turns into minor, or maybe I'm wrong. But the same "taste" I feel while listening to your "Abba - Dancing Queen". as always, sorry my bad english... Best regards

  • Fantastic once again. The style changes match up wonderfully with the video.

  • Sorry; despite the great music execution, the country style doesn't fit her voice in this song. Metal was the "right" choice, although that was a great surprise twist for the bridge.

  • @dmwdevil It was meant to be funny, that's why I chose country to accompany her voice:)

  • @AndyRehfeldt Granted, but you gave us a mix this time - the other styles were awesome-funny like "wow, she could totally sing that way" (almost a realistic remix), whereas country was haha-funny in a "here's what she'd sound like if she did country" way. Usually your works are just one or the other (or even totally different like when you even re-record the lyrics for, say, death metal). I like them all individually; this just struck me as an odd mix to choose. Sorry for the armchair criticism!

  • @dmwdevil

I disagree, the country is perfect and charming... And I listen to metal, Arsis, Meshuggah, Lazarus A.D., etc. The metal rocks too.

  • Did anyone else go listen to the original after liking this only to realize the original is a terrible electronic mess with no depth?

  • woot ! what a psychedelic visualization in the background !

  • Nicely done. Another awesome one.

  • This is fantastic, really amazing. You took a song that's difficult for me to listen to and turned it into something I not only enjoyed, but will probably show my friends. I am curious, does the limited number of notes in the melody make it easier for you to do pretty much whatever you want with it?

  • @jetpac7890 Yes

  • Well Andy... after seeing your stuff, I'm pretty much prepared for every crazy style of music out there... but holy hell!!!, then you turn the freaking crazy knob even further!... Country -Metal-BossaNova?!?! dude!!, just, dude!! O_o

  • Another win from the master!

  • Utterly awesome.

  • so much better than the original
