I don't think youtubers are nicer. Youtubers are huge assholes. Usually when a chick posts a video of her playing they either rip on her as being "talentless" even when they're great. The most common comment I see is, "Uh... learn to tune ur guitar!", obviously because they have no real negative comment on their playing. And if it isn't that it's something like, "ur hott" or, "nice tits!". Girls have it tougher, for sure.

Gibson is really more of a classic rock, or metal choice of guitar. Ibanez is alot more shreddy than gibson. I hate les pauls really, the feel of the guitar, the looks, and the guitar overall really. Nobody can deny though the tone is excellent beyond belief. Im not saying you cant shred on gibson just Ibanez would work better.

The comment below you explains a bit. He prefers gibson but to each his own eh. But yes getting a more shreddy guitar will be easier to play on. Tons of different things matter in a guitar even the little things you dont think of much. You can play the same stuff on any guitar in the world. Players go for stuff that best suits them though. Stuff that suits shredders are shred guitars like Ibanez. Not all guitars are the same, I would assume if you were a shredder your choice would be Ibanez.
