Just googled this as we were involved in a missive coach crash in Vietnam 4 days ago. Took part of the roof off and put us on our side. Fucking scary shit. Not surprised there's so many deaths here. Never get on a coach/bus in Vietnam. Always fly if you can.

shit I bombed down that hill on my bicycle... it's about 3 miles north of Da Nang and I was doing 35+ the whole way. Hell of a ride. It's a sight-seeing spot though; tour bus operators should know that their passengers want to take in the view, and take it slowly.

If u have ever been to Vietnam and unlucky enough get on one of those speeding drivers, it scares the shit out of you! They r so ignorant and doesnt care about other people's lives and probably not their own. They treat the road like a racing track eventhough their r over a dozen passengers on. If u were to make a complaint, they will either shout at u like a dog or throw u off in the middle of nowhere!

__Its sad to know people lost their lives. However, someone is responsible for certain preventable tragedy. In this accident, the driver could be driving wrecklessly, or not inspecting the vehicle before driving. And, it could be the passengers who incited some excitement to speed downhill.

__ We need to address this preventable accident in the most effective way to avoid similar tragedy. It is not disrespectable (in my opinion) to equate downhill speeding as shooting yourself in the head.
