LSU won this game.... I think this was the game when LSU started their streak against Miss. State... I don't think Miss. State has beaten LSU since like 98 or 97...

Larry Templeton started making some really stupid decisions within the MSU athletic department not long after this - effectively starting the LSU streak (and other SEC teams) over MSU. But shit, the days of LSU flaunting their "invincibility" are over - especially since Saban came to his senses and left BR. Shit, if Ole Miss can beat the shit out of LSU 2 years in a row, so can the rest of the West.

MSU has not beaten LSU since 1999 and that game is disputed due to a bad TD call on 4th and goal giving MSU a 17-16 win. LSU has won 18 of 19.

@rpg37 1999--Gibson's shoulders & the football were in the endzone before his thighs & knees were on the ground. Clearly shown on replay from opposite endzone camera. Ref's made the right call, probably an easy call.
