I love this video. Phoebe reminds me of my snowshoe kitty Toby, who also stuck out her tongue! Toby was a seal point and gorgeous, with blue crossed eyes; she wasn't yet weaned when I adopted her, and she lived to be 18 and a half years old! I'm sad she's gone, but very grateful we had her for so many years. Wish I could hold and pet your little kitty, and see that cute tongue in person, but I will have to make do w/seeing Phoebe via youtube; keep up the great videos! And thanks!:))

Hey, this is the first I've heard your story. I watched a few other "Phoebe videos" before viewing this one.
Like you, I rescued a Seal Point Siamese off cold, busy streets in early March, '08. The vets estimated him at 6 months, but he only weighed 3 pounds and was very sick (upper respiratory infections, congested lungs, nose, watery, gunky eyes. Winston is now doing just fine and is the "cat's meow."
I've had Siamese cats before and love them. Yours has particularly lovely eyes!
God bless your soul for the kindness & compassion you've shown this gorgeous, loving little kitty. She clearly loves you so much - you can see a deep and profound connection. You were meant for each other! I know how amazing Siamese are - I just lost my lilac point little girl a couple weeks ago, and your video has comforted me.

She is so pretty. You did a nice thing. I used to rescue purebred cats from kill shelters & rehome them-until Katrina damaged the house. I love siamese cats. I had one that lived to be 22yrs old. Give her a hug from me.
Yeah & she was a rescue too. I had gotten her from the SPCA when I was a kid. Gotta love those LOUD MEOWS. I now have a bengal who meows like that too.
