you should use eridian weapons as a back up for if all your ammo is depleted

@Billsfan18 In Playthrough 1 they are called Badasses, in Playthrough 2 they are called Bad Mutha's, after you beat Playthrough 2 you go into what's known as Playthrough 2.5- You don't start over again, but everything becomes level 50ish. This is when they are Super Bads.

for all lance guys just use a corrosive weapon i used a revolver taht did 154 dmg with x4 corrosive and kick their asses(1st playthrough obviously)

i have 22 alien guns most are snipers lol and two ball blasters both with 9.1 firerate

I have an Eridian Hellfire that does 540x4x4 fire damage and doesn't have to regenerate.

using eridian guns require a lot of patience. u have reached level 50 prof and they still dont click wit u? try carrying jus eridians and switch as soon as u kill. i use my siren with four thunder storms and i get through anything and now im trying four lightnings with mord. four! its either eridians or not

I tested with and without the extended magazine mod and it seemed to make no difference. 8 shots on my cannon for some reason O_o it was 2 earlier.

Also, I got a better class mod with extended magazine, I can shoot 9 rounds with the Thunderstorm and 8 shots (I think 8) with my Cannon. But the cannon does not have electrical damage. The extended magazine does seem to affect the total amount you can fire, but you can't boost the damage if you take a mod that does this (? I don't know, I don't have much experience with soldier).

Three things. I have a Soldier level 24, using a level 19 100 ThunderStorm and I can shoot 9 shots. I only have level 3 proficiency.

AVI is a container movie format, doesn't relate to the actual movie file compression :/.

And after seeing this vid, it's clear the recharge isn't that great (which I thought would be one of the benefits, i.e. just keep shooting). The shock damage is nice though on these guns, that I think is the biggest plus. Corrosive is good for Lance, shock not so much.

I only use eridian weapons and I do just fine.... I actually use them more than any thing.... If I go down using something else I always get second wing with my thunderstoms or lightning or even the any of the blastets.... Just saying your video is an opinion... Not fact

actually if you use Roland and spec in the overload skill your alien guns have a larger charge and can shoot more, also i heard that is you spec in high velocity as siren the speed of some of them increase

Not being far in the game and having none of the orange atlas weapons and only 1 Eridian weapon I'm not sure of the damage differences but I know he's a Siren and most likely has Elemental skill points. Doesn't that boost that weapons damage since it deals elemental shots?

For most of PT2, I kept an Eridian shotgon slotted just to use for 2nd wind. Nice amount of quick damage. Too bad recharge is so horrid.

The capacity and recharge rate have to do with the kind of magazine, not the damage.

If I may be nosey, how were you able to regain health at such a fast rate?

Was it a sheild, or a perk you unlock with the Siren?

Apparently the first answer I wrote didn't go through.. if you're talking about what starts at 3:08 its a talent called Inner Glow, you recover health while phasewalking. It should also be noted that not once in this video did Mind Games proc on an enemy, and I was specc'd for it. So alien guns = no mind games.

I personally think Alien weps suck. Just get the Corrosive weps for heavy armored mobs and the Jakobs weps for Bandits. That's my phylosophy

Depends. Not all Alien weapons are bad. You have four types. Eridian Lightning(Alien version of sniper),Eridian cannon(Essentially the counter part to a rocket launcher),Eridian blaster(Automatic weaponry),and Eridian Thunder storm(Shotgun). Personally,the Eridian lightning and Eridian blaster are my favorites.
