All most music fans know about Les Paul is that it's the name of a guitar. Hendrix did not get recognition for a tragic death. It was for his incredible playing and studio mastery. @jclev99- Billy evidently has a few custom models made for him by Gibson. He also has a Les Paul similar to this that he uses for slide. You can see it on "Just Got Paid", it has three knobs on it. I like a Les Paul and it's two volumes and two tones, you can have your neck pickup soft, and your bridge pickup ready to scream. You can shift a lot of gears with a Les Paul.
