We really don't need more women pregnant because our population is already growing at an alarming rate and we're running out of food, water, and energy. Both Men and Women are equally valuable in continuing humankind because you need both to procreate. To increase the survival of the humanity nature has strategically made man physically stronger to protect, shelter and feed the family. And nature has strategically made women with breasts instead of more muscles to nurture the new babies . I do think the finacial compensation is a greater service, overall, as a man can live in a dirty home, but a woman without money would be in trouble. I'm not saying she can't then get a job, but the change in lifestyle would be more radical in a woman without a man than the opposite.

@TheoryOfThought what I'm saying though is that I don't think one gender should naturally be assigned jobs as they often are with men bringing in the larger proportion of income and women taking care of the house. Each should be able to take care of themselves individually so they do not become trapped in a relationship. Of course whilst they are together it makes sense to take on tasks to ensure smooth running of a house but it should not be as restrictive in my opinion.

However isn't minimum wage the same, regardless? and a pay gap in physical jobs such as construction might be understandable depending on the actual amount of work being done. However if the women IS doing the same amount of work as a man, or more, she should be payed accordingly. that is, equal wages or better. If she's being paid less, then financial dependance is explainable...

@TheoryOfThought Well that is from a UK newspaper, I don't think sueing is as popular over here. Also the problem is it is hard for an employee to get a hold of this information. Do you know what everyone you work with gets paid? I had a female friend who was a bouncer who asked what her colleagues got paid to find out that guys who started after she did were on higher wages. Im only 22 myself, its always good to look at the information out there and consider it from both sides, not as winning.

Comparing men to women is like comparing acorns to coconuts. Men have a significant value to society. A woman’s role was just as significant to society as a man’s role. Feminists told us it was not important and look what that’s gotten to us as a society? While I will never say men and women are equal because they cannot be compared, both genders HAD an equally important role in society and *most* women have abandoned it.

Men and womens brains have many differences, and yes men do dominate the higher end of the IQ scale than women do. Women have contributed very little to the realms of science, medicine and technology. Women also have lesser mathematical ability, which is directly related to intelligence. the firefighter job is a valid example because men a physically stronger. BUT when it come to jobs that don't require much physical strength it is not right that women are still supressed by getting lower salary than men and they usually can't go to a higher working position.

If I'm sitting the bus and a woman goes standing she would slightly cough to let me know it is my job, as a guy, to give her my sit. I do think the finacial compensation is a greater service, overall, as a man can live in a dirty home, but a woman without money would be in trouble. Each should be able to take care of themselves individually so they do not become trapped in a relationship. Of course whilst they are together it makes sense to take on tasks to ensure smooth running of a house but it should not be as restrictive in my opinion.

While I agree there are some thing that women can't do, and some things men can't do, this girl has completely missed the mark on what feminism is. We live in a male-dominated society. That is a fact. And women as a group are a minority, even though they make up around half of the population. I don't hate men, and I don't blame men for the way society works. I mostly blame the media for perpetuating the ideas. So in summary, the girl who made this video has no idea what she's talking about! :)

All the jobs you listed for women that you perceive are better at is because of the lack of opportunities they had in the past. People would rather have them in the house. Better leaders? We can't come to that conclusion yet since like I said women have not had and still don't get the same opportunities as a male.

So the whole basis for hating feminism is because men are physically superior? I don't know about you, but physical strength was irrelevant in 2009 and continues to be irrelevant today. We are no longer hunting, we moved past the point where we need to rely on strength to survive. Also, by that logic, we are inferior to other animals since many other species are physically superior to humans.

@EdyMar77 A lot of women don't possess that physical strength to compete in those jobs but that does not mean physical strength is our value in society. Yes, I do admit women and men are different. Also what about the family? Gay and Lesbian couples have shown to be great parents. So that means some kids grow up without a father or a mother. Single Mothers are same. Though they would most likely have to be financially able to raise a child without consequences.

Men and womens brains have many differences, and yes men do dominate the higher end of the IQ scale than women do. Women are NOT in any way what - so - ever prevented from doing what they want in Western society. But men ARE. Women have greater employment prospects, pay less tax, pay less insurance, are given preferential health care, have greater freedom of speech, work less hours, retire sooner, given preferential treatment in divorce AND given more opportunities in education than men are.
