Powerful. Heartbreaking. Just when Jack is finally able to love her, she pushes him away. And in one fell swoop, their relationship is destroyed. I started watching them about two months before this scene. This is the storyline that got me addicted.

@NEU143 u must be very new to days of our lives LOL! Jack and Jen are a SUPERCOUPLE of the show from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s....Jen is Hope's cousin, Alice's granddaughter. She is coming back to DAYS in November 2010.

@garelicious83 ...and now Matthew Ashford is coming back as Jack! I can't wait...things are gonna be good! Even though he deserted Jennifer, he won't be too happy to come back and find her with someone else! I suspect the storyline will probably have Jack finally getting the divorce papers, coming to his senses and rushing back to Salem only to find Jennifer has moved on-then he'll try and win her back.

It's been reported that his scenes will appear in late June/early July...I can't wait!

The slap that was heard all around! Man, now THIS is when DOOL was sooo good! JnJ are one of my all time fave couples ever! I remember waiting with baited breath as Jennifer slowly began to unravel after her rape by Lawrence and poor Jack couldn't figure out what was wrong and doing his best to "fix it" in his own way. Just damm!! The acting was off the chain and MR/MA were just divine in this s/l. I loved the ride of JnJ. Talk about great memories..Amazing scenes between these two!

I think the actors are as good as they always were... it's the writing that's terrible. In the old Days the actors were given the good content... they had something to work with!

Jack and Jen are one of my favorite couples too. Of course the writers gave them incredible stories and dialogue. But they always gave such heartfelt performances. This was one of the most painful to watch. Their love story is a classic. You never see love stories like this anymore. Where are the writers from the early 1990s? Did they retire? How can we get good writing like this again??
