Yes Wonder Woman should have won easily, and would never be taken by surprise this often due to her warrior training, but I guess they have to make her look incompetent sometimes for the sake of filling a half-hour show.
The story would had been better if it had included Sinestro. When Wonder Woman is knocked out by Star Saphire, Sinestro uses his power ring to chain her bracelets together so that she becomes helpless and can be taken prisoner along with Hawk Girl, who was knocked out by Arisia. When Wonder Woman awakens, she assumes that Star Saphire and Arisia chained her bracelets together;it isn't until she tries to break the chains that Wonder Woman realizes that her bracelets have been chained by a man.
If Arisia and Star Saphire were smart, the would had taken Wonder Woman prisoner after she was knocked out at 0:57. After Star Saphire knocked out Wonder Woman, Arisia should had tied her up with her own magic lasso and the two villains should had taken Wonder Woman aboard their plane;since Wonder Woman cannot break her magic lasso, she would had been helpless when she awakened.
