for me to go ice blocking i have to sneak onto a golf course and go. but what makes it exciting is that you have to dodge rough grass roots and sandpits lol
@001hinata001 looks like fun! more fun than toboganning since the weather is better. but how do u get the ice block? do u put water in a bucket and put it in your freezer? cuz my stores only sell bags of ice......
@quincee33 you make the block yourself. they're usually only big enough to fit the rider's butt and the rider is supposed to lift their feet or cross their legs or whatever. use a square cooking pan type of thing. like a really deep cake pan is ideal. you want the block to be wide and flat. i used a bowl once and it didn't work out well. when the water is patially frozen, put a rope in it so you have something to hang on to when it freezes.
@quincee33 if you're using a 3 inch thick block, it will probably last 1.25 hours. but it varies depending on how hot it is or if one part is wearing away really fast or something. the 1.25 hours estimation is assuming that it's about 70 degrees (F) outside and the bottom is wearing away evenly.
love it.
