@TheDuDe536 Little bit of wind, but it was mostly for show of the spoilers. I was already lined up, but a few minor things needed to change before it hit the runway. Wind was actually not a factor as I did this landing with calm winds.

@TheHokage123 It's completely dependent upon weight and where it is situated on the airplane. It most likely doesn't, but then again this is a simulator where the aircraft was not professionally made.

This landing sooo reminds me of the crash in 2012...

I tried to take off from SVAS, the mother wouldn't pull up!

I also tried a water landing in Lake Michigan after my engines failed after leaving O'Hare, it almost glided all the way to Green Bay before I set her down.

Also there are two versions of the Ant-225 for FSX. This one was made for FS2002 and the newer one for FSX. There seems to be a few flaws in terms of performance in the FSX model, and that might be why you are having issues with the take off out of this airport.

@indyjons321 This was done on purpose to try to incorporate a crash theme but without the lameness and stupidity of other FSX videos that have millions of hits for no reason. I'm sure you know what I mean. The point of that film was to show emotion in a unique sense to FSX about the loss of life which to my knowledge has not been produced before.

@indyjons321 Thanks for the very positive comment, I do appreciate it! But I will respectfully decline this video as being the best FSX video that I have produced as being the best. If you want to see one that is even better that I have produced, see the one called 10,000 Miles. It was produced using the idea of 'what has not been done before', by using a death of a pilot to tell a story. Check it out, you should like it!

I completly agree too. I use more than one camera addon for my videos due to the limitations of each. However since this WAS one of my first videos, I think it didn't turn out that bad either. I had no idea that Track IR existed at the time and thought that they were using other aircraft to get those looks and feels in their videos. But all and all, thanks!

Your right, but they are already making discussions that the turbofan for the A380-900 series may actually lead to a increased MTW resulting in the A380 taking the lead for MTW. So to respond to your point, yes it is the biggest but the 900 m..a..y take the lead and if it does what I posted will be true.

Thanks, the airplane model (well the feel of that plane) is very generic and sub par but one of the ownly models of that aircraft around! As for the runway, i got into a verbal fight with some youtube dope and he said that you cannot get anything bigger in there than a 737 or A321. Well, I hope I proved him WRONG!! LOL!

Well, i was able to work with several programs (you will see the list at the end) and a whole bunch of time. When I worked on this it took me a WEEK to just get that done! The most important thing is to know what you want to finish with. You should have some sort of an idea when you start and make sure that the footage and transitions follow with the music. Overall it's your project but it is up to you to decide how you want to present the WOW factor.That can be expressed as what did you see?

Check Avsim, Simviation, or another major Microsoft Flight Simulator free addon host and search for the Antonov - 225. There is to my knowloge only one maker of this airplane (in the FS world) so any download of this should be fine. Enjoy!

i used a completly free program called FS Recorder. I recorded the flight and saved it so that it would play back as a traffic file. Then i switched into the Bell and got the shots.

in real life, most likely not, but this is a completly unmodified stock version of this aircraft. In other words it is the creators design for these flight charatoristics. Also i was 'unloaded'. I had no cargo set other than the weight of the shuttle. Fuel was set at 95% when i did this. Seriously! Getting back to your comment, SVAS is the last time i checked in Venezuela which if you did not know, that is in South America on the northern part.

The Cessna does not climb that well so you can literly fly traffic patterns almost inside untill you get out! Many things can get in but not out easily. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!

If you read the discription it says that it is a glitch in FSX where the designers put the airport background ( the lighter shade of grass) and the field on an different altitude than the surrounding field.

I had it since FS2004 when i moved my aircraft collection over to FSX. I cannot tell you for sure, but check out simviation or Avsim, they should have the An-225 there.
