Similiarily if you hear "I was an atheist until" or "I was an atheist, but" or some other similiar line then it's again probably a scam. Remember, many atheists base their atheism on reason and evidence; which makes converting a lot more difficult than to convert bewtween religions or to convert to atheism.
Most atheist are logical thinking people that do not believe in god, i find it hard to believe that atheists are being "converted" to believe. Um... have you never read any other religious text before? Being old, referring to actual historical events, and telling you how your "god" wants you to live your life, are all pretty common themes. Honestly, I think for the most part they think it somehow gives them more credibility and makes us like them more if they act like they were once an Atheist. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
More often than not, pretending to be something you not can easily be sniffed out, and we know you are bullshitting. Converted Atheists however, are very plausible.

@allibyx Unfortunately a lot are scammers. If you ever hear "I'm an atheist, but" then there's a good chance they're not an atheist. Similiarily if you hear "I was an atheist until" or "I was an atheist, but" or some other similiar line then it's again probably a scam. Remember, many atheists base their atheism on reason and evidence; which makes converting a lot more difficult than to convert bewtween religions or to convert to atheism.

Most atheist are logical thinking people that do not believe in god, i find it hard to believe that atheists are being "converted" to believe. Most organized religion targets small children because they have minds that are not fully developed enough to make rational choices....it is a brainwashing technique. I attended a christian church from age 1 to 9 and everytime i had a rational question, I never got a rational answer. some people are just smart enough to realize when they are being lied to

What about the differing orders of creation in Genesis? Why does Jesus tacitly condone slavery by prescribing how to treat servants/slaves? Um... have you never read any other religious text before? Being old, referring to actual historical events, and telling you how your "god" wants you to live your life, are all pretty common themes. Your particular religious text is not unique or special.
