Lies, Tippmanns are great guns and very accurate, just the a5 is not designed to shoot 25 bps without going overboard on modifications. NFI what this guy was doing but the gun is shooting all over the place and pretty much broke everything that went through it. Ive had my a5 for years and don't think I have ever broken a ball in it.

Wow, no wonder you were chopping.. All you installed was the vortex mod??? You need to install the ENTIRE KIT!!!! Yes, it costs about $110, but its worth every penny. I installed Ludicrous Speed Cyclone Upgrade Kit & and Zero Kick Hammer Kit and I can run at about 28-29 bps without chopping. Also, using cheap balls (monster balls) will give you poor results.

I own 3 A5's that are all set to 25bps+. In order to shoot above 18 or so you need paint that can handle the torture of the blowback such as my favorite, DXS Blaze, but there are several others that work great. Also a TechT Paintball conversion is the biggest improvement you can make. with a good paint you can easily get away with out the upgrade and be able to shoot 15-18bps without a break! A Tip for anyone interested, match your paint to your barrel if you can or buy a barrel kit.

15-20 BPS is practical if you have someone running across a short gap, or if they are pinned down behind a tree or something, other than that i run around 10 where we play and it suits me well, saves paint and still gets the point across lol

Well you are right in that the CYCLONE FEED for the Tippmann A5 was only designed for 15 balls /sec. , but the gun can shoot upwards of 25 bps with no chopping if it is set up correctly. This guy did not have everything needed for the gun to work or like travis223ify said he just was shooting bad paint.

slow it down is the right thing to do and/or get a faster bolt. shoot slower than the vortex can feed to prevent chopping. at slower speeds the bolt will be able to fully complete a cycle before the trigger catch is fired again.

My X7 runs at 18 BPS with all the TechT upgrades. Also have the JCS red powertube and Orange Howitzer bolt. I set it up to do 22BPS and it did fine. I just ran outta paint fast so it now sits at 18 and is perfect. Shoots ropes! NO BREAKS EVER!!

If you watch his 20 balls a second video....right at the end he makes mention to a ball rising. He had broken any paint and a ball roase.
