At about 7:50 he gets calm - and is one on one with us. He stares right at the lens.
You can almost project what he's thinking. he's more calm now, and the nervousness is gone.
This, really is where you want your actors to be when you shoot, then, they can be 'In the moment' with the other actor, or, alone with their moment, and will not appear to be acting.
