Come on now people it's a manufacture warranty not any Verizon phone warranty. But yea I had a Storm2…CRAP! hated it gave it to my 2 yr. old. iPhone not one prob.

marketing defect don't use phone the screen could crack by touching it when it overheats, this happened to me . These phones are dangerous and None of the companies are covering it what a joke, I have been through 2 blackberry storm's. BLACKBERRY STORMS ARE DANGEROUS USELESS WASTES OF MONEY.

@ai4281 yeah but that doesnt mean that no droid or Iphone has ever had a problem, I can tell you that I had a problem with my 3gs, my point is that no phone is perfect.

@mrvondudenstein Yeah no phone is perfect, so the best you can do is to avoid the WORSE ones. Blackberry phones not only lag in reliability, they also lag in UI and usability as well.

My 1st question is why do u still have a s1 or better yet u got a s1 when s2 was out already? But also VZW has a policy that is called the multiple factory replacement units which means after ur second device you have to option of getting a comparable device which will be the s2..

I have the same problem with my Storm - Vodafone give exactly the same reply - after 2 echanges and a further battery exchange I still have the same issue and they'll only offer a new Storm - as they say this isn't a "known issue".

I'm cancelling my business account unless they swap to a safer phone!
