  • A typing keyboard is on top of the (electric) piano with the music must be on the computer...

I downloaded a lot of these pieces off the net but prefer a paper copy when playing on a "real" acoustic.

A Bourrée was a quick dance in France & Spain in double time. Should play faster. He is lifting his fingers a bit high and hitting the keys in a slightly "staccato" or short, accented fashion. Sliding your fingers across from 1 sequence to the next you make fewer misses.

    Not bad for a beginner...

  • @thepianoplayer416 Thank you! The coordination is just being developed.

  • his fingers are so cute. haha

  • I don't recognize this piece. What is it called? Is it J.S Bach or on of the sons?

  • Mozart wrote his first piece at age 4. but he is verry good for his age. when i was four i was thinking about music

  • nice work Brian. balance sheets and cash flow statements undoubtedly await.

  • omg! this is the sweetest thing i've ever seen! he's so young but still playing this!!

    RESPECT!

  • You need to get him lessons... those play-by-number pianos and such are kind of bad habits... they make for bad hand positions and he has some pretty good potential. Get him some lessons!

  • Before to write the comments like this you have to learn more about Soft Mozart. Google, please!

  • He really should get lessons. Just trust me on this one.

  • Is that Soft Mozart a playing method?

Just wondering, I learned to play the piano too by a method, but I can't remember that name anymore xD

  • wowzers

  • mmmmmm+mmmm poor no no no do not poor sip sip sip poor no do not awesome!!!!!

  • the kid looks sad... is that his free will to play ? )))

  • if it isn't, he'll end up loving it later on

  • I respect you.

  • he can't read a book but plays like this! Awesome

  • hey, you CAN break habits.

i never learned the proper hand positions and never did scales, but i got almost perfect on technique exams and my teacher is happy.

this kids four, give him a break.

  • Awesome!

  • Practice makes perfect, this guy is great, but a day or two more of practice on this piece would make him a lot better. But, I admit, he's four years old, good job!

  • What rubbish! This child, like so many who learned with other such methods so popular once, will be a 9 day wonder whilst young but will fade into obscurity once he has to start unlearning all his bad habits! Having taken on many such disillusioned children in the past I simply shudder to think of the damage being done!

  • I would recommend you to watch the video from this blog called 'How to read music. Lesson 1. How to focus'

As you already know, ABC with pictures never spoil any child's ability to read books fluently and even act in plays. But in 19 century many teachers claimed that visual support in learning grammar damage students' learning!

BTW, when farmers started to use tractors, many claimed that grain would smell gazoline

  • The notes are there but he's going to have technical problems in the future unless someone takes him right back to the beginning and works on hand positions and musicality!

  • natural hand position and musicality can't be explained verbally - it comes from direct hand-on experience. with Soft Mozart kids read and play many pieces and gain freedom of muscles and understanding of music in a fun and natural way.

watch please other videos of this blog to see how it works

  • good job this this is the first vid that isn`t a fake or just plane horrible good job.

  • the lil jitta bug can play :) nice job

  • aww thats adorable (:

  • wow this is terrible, emily bear is 5 and played for the queen, she composes her own music she is a child prodigy check her emily bear

  • i don't think that it is terrible do not play like emily bear. music is for everybody to enjoy and explore, isn't it?

this videos all about average beginners from 3 years old, who learn how to play and read music with help of interactive computer systrem 'Soft Mozart'

  • Anyone can play. Or do you think that this emily bear didnt do mistakes at the beginning? I'm 23, i started one month ago and i play only Fur Elise without the difficult piece in the middle. Then? I'm enjoying it. Everyone can enjoy music, never mind if theyre prodigy or not. Music is universal and has got no age. Only dreams, passion, poetry and desire.

  • not everyone is going to be a child prodigy like Emily Bear.

  • WOW!!!

  • i started at eight and wasnt that good

  • that software may teach him the basics but he really need a good piano teacher in order to learn better tecnique. He obviously has talent an could go very far just needs some guidence from a piano teacher.

  • Well...it's not too impressive, I've seen better. Those are more like prodigies though. Regardless, it's certainly not bad for a four-year-old! Better than average, most likely.

  • The internet makes so many people dumb...The age means nothing. But lot of people doesnt know what that really means so saad.. :-(

  • "But lot of people doesn't know what that. . ."

    nice grammer.

maybe the internet is making you dumb.

    F.Y.I

"But lots of people don't know what that really. . . ."

sad is spelled with one a

  • I am a Hungarian. Sorry for not writing English perfect. :-)

  • grammar.*

  • he is adorable and cool

  • this kid has talent.

  • Wow! He's going to be a star someday.

  • leave the kit alone ...

  • It seems you are from those people who train a baby to ballet pas after his first steps, complain that a baby can not speak properly her first word, and sneer at kid's first written sentence because of poor calligraphy.

One of few reserves for such people where they are not only listened to, but even allowed to teach children, is piano education. They don't understand that the fine technique goes behind the brain, ear and hand development, that a child learns and improves through mistakes.

  • Agreed 100%!!

  • i gota say more pactise makes perfect although i thought it would of been easier for you if you let him practise more n' then put it up on youtube cos then u don't have to put up wiv these peoples stupid retarded comments. Logic

  • Good reply.

  • who the are you to say that to a 4 yr old?

  • lol, did anybody else notice the computer on top of the piano? Now that's what I call a brilliant idea :D Play video games while mastering impossibly hard songs! The ultimate way to drain a social life! He's gonna have a great childhood, that one will...

  • ahahah i definantly agree

  • lisen i have a little brother this age...so i kno how amawzing this is! lol. this kid is super tallented!

  • can give me SOFT WAY TO MOZART even tho im 13

  • SOFT WAY TO MOZART works with any individual of any level from 2 to 100+ year old

  • wow should b more fluent and should have sustaning pedal

  • I think, it is pretty fluent for 4 year old boy. He won't be able to reach the pedal, because he is too small.

    PS

Please, note: all my videos are not about personal achievements of my students: they are testimonies of the great results of a new way of teaching piano with SOFT WAY TO MOZART

  • wow im impressed, but too much pressure for a 4 year old. should be done in moderation :)

  • this chils as all my other students are practicing with SOFT WAY TO MOZART (computerised system). They simply enjoy piano playing like they enjoying playing games.

  • Kids learn so fast that everybody at that age could play this. It's not special.

  • lol ouch.

  • this chils as all my other students are practicing with SOFT WAY TO MOZART (computerised system). They simply enjoy piano playing like they enjoying playing games.

  • i diss agree you can push 4 year old but i agree that he has a talent to i just think it is ok not great but ok

  • all my videos ARE NOT about talented kids. but the testimony, that SOFT WAY TO MOZART can teach any age and any person.

  • it doesnt matter if his parents pushed him or not...this is a talent that this little boy has, i bet that there are many ppl who cant even play this song,

  • with SOFT WAY TO MOZART a n y b o d y can learn and this song and more others.

  • I don't think you can assume his parents pushed him. My son played drums almost every day from age 18 months to age 4. He finally showed interest in other toys starting at age 4. He pushed more than we did! Check out his video and the smile on his face, search "drum prodigy 5". It will be at the top.

  • Sigh what has this world come to? He is only 4. He already has a computer and a piano. Why are parents giving him this? He needs to socialize, have fun, and be a kid. You can never be a kid again... I would never let my kids have a computer or anything til later. Only toys and having fun.

  • But fun could be different! Fun to do something stupid or fun to do something smart. This kid is enjoying music. Don't you see it in his face? He learned the piece by simply playing game.

  • I bet his parents pushed and pushed him

    Poor kid

    Good player though :D

  • Nobody can push 4 year old kid. He is great and he has the best system to learn.

  • I beg to differ... I have seen a young girl push a four year old boy and convince him to jump two-stories.... despite my valiant efforts... I was only seven at the time...

He missed the crate of hay he was attempting to land on....

    My cousin is a moron

  • this video is not about the boy - it is about system that teaches the boy fast, effective, fun system called SOFT WAY TO MOZART

  • My daughter also started playing piano very early. I specifically did not want to push her to start learning piano at such an early age, but she's always been very inquisitive and she's the one who wanted to learn. And even now, she runs down to the piano the moment she wakes up and plays.

I'm sure there are overly pushy parents. But you should not assume that every time you see a young child who's gifted that it's because the parents pushed that child.

  • ALL my videos ARE NOT about gifted children or pushing parents. They are about superior system SOFT WAY TO MOZART capable of teaching practically anyone with no struggle.

  • @quansoochoi i just got a four year old student the other day. i am curious whether he is really interested or if the parents pushed him. but he was very interested during the lesson so i assume it is him who is interested.

  • Hmm... gitaar0girl0voetbal , I don't think that the boy can understand the Dutch.

What she was trying to say: Wow, so young? Excelent! Keep on!

What I'm saying: o my god... this boy has talent !

  • :o wow zo jong? goed! ga zo door!
