The Vines are the BEST band of all fucking time. They are the one band I've listened to religiously throughout highschool and for the better half of the past 6 years. So underrated, Craig Nicholls is the fucking man. Oh yeah and personally, forgot to mention, they are one of the best bands to hear while getting high, the sounds are so beautiful.

The only thing that bothers me about them not being as popular as other bands is that it's sooo frigging hard to obtain their cds. I'm not as sad as I sound, because I've managed to get 'highly evolved' and 'the winning days', but I'm still searching my butt off to find the other three..... soo tiring XD

this is one of the trippiest songs to play with two guitars... one playing the arpeggios, the other playing the simple little lead... you can jam for days on this one. this band is made up of pure, pure genius. i can listen to the vines for days on end.

I think houshanpi's referring to the acclaim the Vines has achieved rather than the commercial popularity.....I don't think a lot of Vines fans want the band to be commercially popular and screw up their music.....but it's a dilemma, I've always hope more people can appreciate what amazing pieces of music (such as this one) Craig has written, I really do.
