cool just got given a scimitar gte thats been in a lock up for 8 years, my boss owns it and said its free to a good home so its my new project, first job will be to put a rover 3.9 v8 under the bonnet some big brakes and go from there i guess, love the look of only having the outer lights!!!! so much to do might even do some vids of the build if anyone is interested???
@garbage106 pop over to Scimitarweb as well, you'll piss off some purists swapping the engine but we'd love to see if the car's been in the club at any point! We've had an amazing omega v6 conversion documented thats still not finished!
@demonblues hello mate yeah ok will check out scimitarweb, i,v heard about the omega v6 being a popular swap but it's gotta be a V8 purely for the sound hehe, i'm fairly suited to spanners n sockets but totally new to fiberglass tho been trying to find info on wide arches preparing and spraying, looks like a minefield, so many questions guess i'l catch you in the forum. cheers for the reply. your right, thats not a turbo at all, it's the standard "early" Ford essex V6... who needs a turbo anyway when you have that going off under the bonnet? :D

I'm pretty sure it is twin turbo - I remember seeing the engine bay on that site "sporting-reliants" with a couple of turbos sitting in it
