o ok thanks mate im 18 and just got my first Z car ive allways wanted one so i finally saved my cash and got one

......its a orange 1972 240z

@clearwater707 ok so its got all of the emissions stuff I bet that decell valve is whats acting up ... in most areas you can disconnect that stuff since they don't check emissions on such old cars

@clearwater707 in the center of your intake manifold ballace tube you will see a vacuum activated dash pot that has a little lever that pulls the carbs throttle when activated ... clamp the vacuum hose that leads to it

or remove the hose and plug the manifold side with a little rubber plug/ stopper you get at the auto store

see if the problem goes away or changes

is the interior of this Z like the mint white color or is just the headliner that color?........................­...........very very nice 240z its a car that i will never get rid of .

Where is this? Is it on the escarpment? It sort of looks look similar to Haliburton. In any case it must be a fun road.
