  • Linda melodia,bela interpretação!Beautiful music .Great perfomace!

  • He sounds like a mixture of Bing Crosby and young Frank Sinatra! :D

  • I thought it would be sweet to sing this song to my wife. When I finished she asked, "Who's Peg?"

  • I have the book. It was made into play as well...This is lovely....My mom and dad used to sing this to me...Sweet memories. Thanks!

  • More than any record he made during his all too short career, you can hear how influenced Buddy was by Bing Crosby his approach to a note, chesty to mouth intonation and especially his improvisations. It was a studiously relaxed style. His choice of material was also very similar to the kinds of easy going, skimming-over-life songs that Bing built his career on. At this time it was almost impossible for singers to escape the powerful Sinatra sound and the darker material Frank preferred. .

  • Oh how my mother loved him. I put all his songs on an ipod for her which she listened to all the time. I'm so happy his voice made her so happy in her final days.

  • @Bossmanrocks That's beautiful. He's my grandfather. And his voice makes me happy too. :)

  • Greatest male singer of the era, bar NONE

  • Great tribute.

This song was written by Fred Fischer, a cousin on my mother's side of the family.

Fred also wrote Come Josephine in my Flying Machine. Featured in the movie Titanic after the sinking of the ship.

  • Nobody was better or sweeter than Buddy on this song and many others!

  • Very nice music and pictures!
